Sony Ericsson - Walkman W810i Cell Phone —

Sony does lots of things great: Playstation, movies, tv's, sound systems, just to name a few, and I guess they do phones great as well. I LOVE this phone. My husband and I both own one, and I would buy it again if this one broke. I am not the type of person that needs my phone to do everything under the sun, but do like a few extra's and this one delivers.

Features:
The phone is pretty compact, and doesn't weigh much, I believe it weighs 3.5 oz. It has a nice size screen, and has a good picture. It has a 2 mega-pixel camera, not bad for a phone, and also takes videos. The camera has 4X zoom, auto-focus, and a flash when needed. It has a built in walkman that has an FM radio. You can also access the Internet, if you have that on your carriers service plan. I don't use the Internet, but my husband does on his, and it is decent. It has a good speaker-phone, and my favorite feature is the flashlight. I use this often, especially when I forget to turn on the outside lights. There is also all the normal organizer items, such as calculator, phone book, alarm, calendar, notepad, and some others. There are short cut keys on the phone itself for easy access to the walkman, and you can set the navigation circular key for 4 of your favorite shortcuts. It does both blue-tooth, and infrared. It takes a pro duo memory stick, which is awesome for us because we use those for our psp and our sony camera. The phone has internal 20mg memory, then of course you add whatever size memory card you like, up to 4G. I believe this phone is exclusive through Cingular, or I think it is AT&T now, however, I purchased an unlocked one and use it with our carrier with a sim card. The battery life is excellent, and you can check the actual percent of battery life on the phone. Of course, the more you use the flashlight, walkman, etc, the faster the battery goes down, but it is still really good. I also have awesome reception with this phone. The only flaws I can think of is that I wish it was either a flip or swivel type phone to protect the face a little, and the keys fade easily.

There are so many phone choices out there, and depending on what you need your cell phone to do, this one is a great choice for something in the middle of basic and high tech.

What a great combination of gadgets in one package! If only they'd come up with a laptop computer that has a data projector built-in!

I have the same phone right now, and have been very happy with its reliability after being dropped like 100 times! :)
