Most HelpfulThe Sony W300i is the most recent in a long line of cellular phones used at my house. It was chosen for length of talk/standby time and recommendations that its reception was better than average in rural areas. The phone has many more features as well - lots of music options, expandable memory for...

Most HelpfulI got this phone for free when I extended my contract with AT&T for 2 years. I like the phone although I don't use all of it's features, which include mp3 player, radio, camera, bluetooth ready, calendar and more. I like that it plays music. The battery lasts a long time, unless you are using bluetooth features a lot. The phone is light weight and easily fits in a pocket, which is a convenint feature with vibrate on if you are in a loud place.
My husband liked mine so much, he got one a month later. He loves the radio and listens to it all the time.
The Sony Ericsson W300i is a great phone!! We have been dependent on cell phones for many years now. When we got this phone, it was an upgrade, and we loved it from the start!! We now have 4 of these, and we all love them!
This phone is loaded with great features!
It has the fm radio, which you need the headset to listen to (its the antenna). The headset has great sound quality and also is a great fit to the ear! The volume goes very high, I never have it more than 1/4th as high as it can go. What else is great about the headset? If you get a call while listening to the radio, it beeps in, and...
review »After having my Sony Ericsson W300i phone for only 7 months I noticed it had a problem recognizing the charging plug when trying to connect I had to wiggle it a bit, as time went on the problem only worsened as the charging port on the bottom had corrosion. My husband and mother got sony ericsson phones at same time I did and experienced same trouble. They really need to add a rubber protector like the Samsung phones or use a plug in design for charging. The phone is useless without power!
as for good points I liked how easy it was to write and send text messages, the sound quality was also good...
review »The Sony Ericsson W300i offers good call quality, a top-notch MP3 player, and a generous set of features. From the outside it's quite attractive. The phone is relatively compact at 3.5 by 1.8 by 1.0 inches, so it's easily placed in most pockets. It's also quite light for its size at 3.3 ounces, but the trade-off is that the overall construction feels somewhat flimsy.
In the center of the front flap is the postage stamp-size external display. Though monochrome, it's quite bright and displays the usual information, including the date, time, battery life, signal strength, and caller ID (where available)....
review »After giving my Nokia 6620 to my friend, I thought it gave me an excuse to "upgrade" to a new celly. Biggest mistake of my life. I went for all the bells and whistles, phone, camera, walkman, radio function, awesome! Almost two months old, pristine condition (never been dropped, gotten wet, never left my hand), my new Sony Ericcson W300i starts shutting itself off. **I might add that once I left the store, I charged the phone overnight and when I turned it on the next day...there were text messagesd from phone numbers that are not from my phonebook! Is this a factory set thing?? Cuz I think I...
review »I was opening a new account so decided to get this phone at the special price. I was excited about the thought of having a radio and MP3 player on it. Not to mention internet access and a camera.
The radio works pretty good, but the only way to use it is with the antanae which is kind of a pain. I would prefer it built in. If anything happens to it you have to buy a new one.
If you want to get any amount of storage you need to buy the card.
It is not very sturdy. I had two short out on me so that I could not speak on it. The cause I was given, was water damage although the phones had never...
