This older Cybershot is a good pocket camera.

Comments about Sony - DSC P71 Digital Camera:

Considering that the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P71 is an older camera, it's definitely got its advantages. My favorite thing about this camera, being pretty klutzy at times, is that it is extremely solidly built; I've accidentally dropped the camera from a few feet up onto an uncarpeted floor on multiple occasions, and that has never affected its functionality. The built-in flash is sufficient for most situations in which you'd be taking a snapshot, though it does fall short in some extremely dark environments. There is also about a 1-second delay between when you press the button and when the photo is actually captured, which can be a hindrance. If you're generally carrying around a bag full of stuff, the weight isn't very noticeable; however, it can be a bit heavy for carrying around in a purse or the like. Considering, again, that this is an older camera, you can probably pick up a used DSC-P71 on the cheap and it's definitely a good value for what you'd pay. Just be aware that it can be difficult to find early generation memory sticks. The attached photos were taken with the camera reviewed here.

SONY Digital Camera is fool proof!

Comments about Sony - DSC P71 Digital Camera:

SONY products are one of the best on the market.  This digital camera is easy to use and to download pictures.  The touch screen options allow quick and easy access to picture review.  The video option is a great way to have hands on access to a digital picture and video recording.
