this sony cybershot camera is a good quality camera. the pictures come out clear and uniform, with no distortion. it is also very fast between pictures, only a second or two. therefore, you can take multiple pictures extremely quickly in order to catch that moment on camera. the slimness and build quality makes it very pocket friendly, and the many functions means youll have something right the job, especially on vacations and trips. the 14.1 megapixels sensor is more than enough. you can take pictures and do heavy cropping on the resulting photo, yet still keep a good quality photo because of the sheer image size of the photo. However, if you plan on taking many pictures, make sure you have a memory card big enough for trips and vacations. i recommend getting an 8gb memory card, a 4gb should be the minimum. the image quality doesnt quite match with some Canon cameras, but for a pocket size point and shoot, this is very good for the money,

Where to start. This camera comes is so features rich for the price you pay, it is hard to go wrong. You get everything from small compact slick camera to panoramic view shots. Additionally, there are settings for virtually all types of environment that you will be taking pictures in. From low light to scenery to fast movement. The camera also comes with video capabilities that records up to HD standard format. The camera also supports all type of memory products, not just the traditional Sony memory stick duo, but also SD cards. The only thing I found to be a weakness in this camera is the zoom. It is only 4x digital zoom, which means you cannot shoot pictures or objects from a far distance. But hey, who needs that anyways. Overall I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a good camera but do not need the high end camera like Canon SDR.

If you're not a professional photographer and want a camera for every day use, this is a great choice! It is a very small, lightweight, easy to use camera for those who are technologically advanced and not so advanced. Sometimes, the settings can make it difficult to get a good picture without holding the camera very still, but I usually keep it on the everyday setting. It has gone a lot of places and can fit even in your back pocket. The camera also takes videos that are fairly good too with great audio capabilities.  The things I don't like about the camera are it's speed and multi flash. When you try to take a picture, it doesn't always take the picture right away, so sometimes you miss the perfect moment. You also have to wait for the flash to go off multiple times before it takes the actual picture, which also causes you to miss the moment sometimes when people think the picture is over after the first flash.  Overall, it is a great camera for just capturing everyday things, and not momentous occasions!

I purchased this camera 2 weeks ago and so far the quality of the photos is very nice. I would recommend it as it is pretty good for the price. I've always been a fan of sony products and I really love the display of the screen. It is easy to use and I like to use the panaroma feature for some nice wide shots. I also love that it supports different memory cards like SD cards which differs from other sony cybershots that can only use memory stick.

We bought this camera after the w290 and it was a nice little upgrade to the previous model. The major difference is the size, this little camera is very compact, yet it has the features of a normal point and shot camera. I find the picture taken outdoors to be much better than the ones taken indoors. Also, I don't think the action shots are as clear as some other models within the same price range. I love the panarama sweep and have used it many times on vacation. It is so simply to use. the HD quality video is also a plus. The battery life is nice and long and we haven't had to charge it too many times. Overall, a great little camera that can fit inside your pockets and one that you take anywhere!

It is a simple camera with no bells and whistles. I had no problems whatsoever for the last three years - no reboot, no menu freeze, no picture drops or awkward sounds. I have not used this camera for video but I am sure this camera would have equally good with those as well. The camera is good -clear and crisp, pretty good for a small digital camera. The volume is excellent, never had to bother shouting on a shoot and same for the sound reception. The navigation menu is simple, easy to use with no complicated click throughs. The features are decent, nothing great and nothing bad. The battery life of this camera is not that great but it does a good job of picking a weak background even in a remote area.

This camera is typical Sony quality at a very affordable price. The menu is extremely easy to navigate and the options are practically limitless. My only complaint is that the color quality doesn't seem to be as good as similarly-priced Canon or Nikon cameras.

My husband got me this Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W350 camera as a surprise. I have enjoyed it, it is a very good camera. It zooms well, has great detail, is fairly sturdy, hold battery charge well, flash is very bright, it detects smiles, and even faces. It has quite a few settings, and is fairly modifiable. It has a setting to take pictures, to take video, and to take a panoramic shot. The panoramic shot is quite awesome, you just press the button and turn around, and you get a nice panoramic picture. All of this being said, I would not recommend it to a friend. Reason being, I wish the settings were easier to adjust, especially the flash. I have seen other's cameras where if the flash was too bright, they could just turn it down in their settings, and have a slightly less bright flash. This flash is super bright, and it's either on or off, there's no modifying it. Plus it's hard to pick certain settings you want on or off, because often the settings come as one, like, water setting. I am sure it is great for the average user though, who doesn't necessarily want to modify the settings as much.

Sony-Cybershot W350 digital camera is nice,light weight and compact camera.its very user friendly,haven't neededed the manual also to operate it.We will get awesome macro shots.Battery will last for 4 hours of continuous use.Its very east to hook up and can view images to TV or PC.Wide angle,takes pictures for both indoors and out doors and the flash range is good coupled with panorama mode and the optical image stabiliser is great.its based around a 14.1 megapixel sensor coupled to a Carl Zeiss 4x optical zoom lens.Lens offers a 35mm equivalent range from a generous 26 mm wide-angle to a moderate 105 mm telephoto.it has solid 2-7 inch  LCD screen.very simple control layout.Printed results are also good.fast auto focus in good light.optical zooming is available while shooting also.iAuto analyses each scene to pick the correct settings. One con: i found is slightly below average battery life,so defenitely consider a spare battery

The Sony- Cybershot W350 provides quality pictures, a variety of effects, and a durable frame, for a much cheaper price than higher end cameras. The camera is extremely reliable for vacation type photography, as well as capturing memories, and the photos produced look great on a digital frame, or in the form of prints. The battery life for the device also stacks up well against competitors, on average it lasted about 3 hours longer than my previous camera- and this was during frequent use. My camera has kept battery life in a sleep mode for several days, which is very reassuring in the event that I forget to turn it off while on the go. Without a doubt the video capture feature is welcome, although the video quality could be better. Of course, for the price, just having basic video capabilities is appreciated. The design is slick, comparable to other devices trying to reach the same target audience.
