This is a nice camera for the money. It takes nice clear pictures, there is not much delay between the snap and the pictures getting captured. Although i find myself using my cell phone to take pictures more and more it is overall a good buy. Easy to operate and easy to transfer the pictures to a computer or a printing station.

It's easy to use, very versatile, I love that I can shoot videos as well. Great buy! I like that both my friend and I have the same camera, yet hers is a different color so when we are at gatherings, we can tell the two cameras apart. Another cool feature is it has a low-light feature that I can set and take pictures of my kids sleeping without them waking up. The videos are very good quality and I love that I can have a video camera tucked into my purse and is easy to just grab and go. I highly recommend this camera for the casual and expert photographer. We've had this one a number of years and it has never given us a problem nor needed service either.

I received this camera as a gift. I love it. I had the same type that I received as a gift 3-4 years ago and loved it. The only reason that I got a new one was higher resolution. Image Quality I get numerous compliments about my pictures. People asking what studio I went to and had pictures of my girls taken. They can't believe that it's a point and shoot camera! Performance I have never had any issue with either one of these cameras. Ease of Use Really. Turn on push button to take picture! Durability I have two girls 2 & 7 years old. They haven't broken either yet. Battery Life I can usually get a few full days of taking pictures and video out of the battery. Portability It fits in my jeans pocket!

                           Sony Digital Camera    I'm a grandmother who loves taking pictures, especially of my grandchildren.  My Sony Digital Camera is so compact and I take it everywhere.  It takes great pictures, the pictures are never blurry or off-color.  The colors are clear and the pictures are awesome.  I take my grandchildren on picnics and to swimming classes.  They love to pose for pictures because they know I will enlarge them and they know they look so cute.    I've used different cameras but my Sony Camera is the best i've ever used.  The price is best for the quality I get.  It's small and I can carry it in my purse everywhere I go.  It takes clear concise shots and is really easy to use.  It's worth the money I spend to buy it.  I can't wait to take Christmas pictures with it this year.    My daughter, her husband, my two grandchildren and myself are going on a Florida vacation in February.  I can't wait to use my Sony camera and take pictures of them in front of the palm trees.  These pictures are going to be awesome as this camera is so fast and easy to use, takes high quality pictures, and it lasts a long time.  I've never had to change the batteries in it yet.  I love my camera and I wish everyone had one just like mine !!

My husband bought me this camera as a wedding gift to ourselves. We have been using this camera for about three years now and it works just as good now as when it was new. There are many features that you can use to alter the picture a little bit, but I usually just stay on auto. I have used some settings to soften the picture or specifically used the snow setting for pictures in snow and the pictures turn out good. The digital part is great because bad pictures can be deleted and not continue to waste space. The focus factor is great because it really focuses the picture well. Right before you take the picture, when it is on auto, you will hear a little beep and you wait a second and then you are good to take the picture. I have used this camera with a lot of product advertisements as well and they turn out good as long as the lighting is right. If you are looking for a good quality camera for taking family memory pictures, vacations, etc. this is a good one.

I have shopped around for months and read reviews on the internet and finally choose this camera, the sony cybershot with 8.1 mega pixels. I love taking pictures and I love using it. I have 5 children and they have families and I am taking pictures all of the time. I can look on the camera and see the pictures that I have taken and decide which ones I want to go get pictures made out of, instead of getting the film delevoped and finding pictures that didn't come out just right or mistakes, that cost alot of money and now I don't have to worry about any of that. I would recommend this camera to anybody, I love it and I know that you will to.

This is the best camera to buy like if you go on vacation it is very small and thin so then you can put it anywhere like your purse hand bag suitcase. it takes great picture's and videos.i think if you are looking for a good size camera you should purchase this one.

I have lots of experience with cameras for my work.  This camera is just an above-average camera.  Great quality for everyday use.  Very simple interface for those who just want a point-and-shoot.  You can get a little technical with this and use some of the manual features, but it's still pretty limited.  There are a few options that will let you adjust the setting you are in without making it too complicated.  I notice that if you take indoor shots without the flash on, the photo has a yellowish contrast to it.  You can easily fix this by changing the white balance.  Sony has the Carl Zeiss lens, so you are getting a great quality lens with this camera.  Depending on where you buy this, you can get a good deal if you shop around.  But don't pay too much for it.  I would highly recommend this if you want a quality camera.  If you can spend a little extra on a camera, it's worth it to get this one over a lower brand.

I purchased this camera after doing pretty much research. I decided to go with this one because of its quality and price.The controls are easy enough that anyone in my family can use it, from a preteen to a grandfather. Most of the time, you can just leave it on the Auto setting and the camera will adjust settings automatically. There are separate buttons for Playback/Review, Menu, and Home next to the LCD screen. The On/Off button on the top of the camera is a bit hard to press (sometimes you have to use your nail), but it's understandable because otherwise it'd be easy to accidentally turn the camera on/off. There is a light that comes on from the front so the subjects know when the picture is about to be taken. The Smile Detection automatically takes up to 6 photos, and has a smile meter showing scale of smile(s). Scene Detection detects scenes such as snow, beach, etc automatically and adjusts settings accordingly. I love the easy operation of the camera and the quality of pichtures it takes.
