Sony - Cybershot S700 Digital Camera Review

This camera can take som decent pictures in really good conditions.  It is easy to use and has been durable.  Before this I had another digital camera that was malfunctioning within a week.  It can take video with audio.  While the quality isn't great this is a rare feature in this price range.  It doens't take good pictures when there is much motion or the lighting isn't ideal.  It only has a view screen, no regular viewfinder, and when the sun is bright I have trouble seeing what the picture will look like.  It uses a special battery, which is included.  The battery is rechargeable and lasts a good amount of time, but if it dies you can't just go buy some AAs like some other cameras.  It uses memory Stick memory which costs quite a bit more than other formats, so makes sure and consider that when pricing it.  It has been easy to download photos and edit them with my limited software.  This is a good basic camera. but I would probably spend another 30 or 40 bucks and get a higher end Sony.
