Sony - Cybershot H9 Digital Camera —
I purchased this camera to do close up photography for ebay and other sights. It has a macro setting but not to the degree I was hoping for. The camera has a great telephoto lens and can do just about as much as an SLR camera can do but for a lot less money and fewer lenses (only one). It has a good size LCD screen (3") but is a little difficult to see in bright sun light. The camera has a lens hood to cut down on sun refelction. THis helps but if you are shooting wide, you'll need to crop the hood off the picture. The camera has a continus shooting setting. This is great for taking action shots. The camera is farely expensive, but not as expensive as the SLR cameras. It also has a unique feature, night vision. The night vision works great. I was able to photograph all kinds of critters eating in my garden at night. Like all new things, it takes time to get to know how everything work, but one you learn, it's great. I'm very satisified with this camera.
