I was reluctant to switch to a digital camera, mostly because I find them too complex to take advantage of their features but this Sony CyberShot H5 has proven very intuitive to use. Our family vacations photos have never come out so well. Very good zoom (though at full power it's hard to keep the shot steady.) Great battery life and memory capacity. I really like the large viewing screen and the ability to scroll through and delete unwanted shots. review »We purchased the Sony Cybershot H5 in order to satisfy the Photo Bug in me and have the flexibilty to be a regular Point and Shoot before the baby crys for the picture taking mother. Its kind of like the sport sedan with an automatic trans mission for the mother who could care less that it is a sport sedan, but has the manumatic option for the gearhead goofy dad who wants to explore his sporty sensabilities.
