I bought this specifically for my honeymoon in Costa Rica. I made the perfect choice! — — This digital camera is great for anyone who wants SLR quality without the SLR price-tag. If has enough great features to keep a tech savvy photographer happy while being easy enough to use for someone who just prefers to "point and shoot". — — This camara gives you great quality pictures at up to 6.0 mega-pixels a shot and with a whopping 12x optical zoom that beats the power of a lot of higher end cameras. There are 13 automatic settings that work so well that there will be…

married, Every day computer user, value conscious, a pet owner, expecting good, fair service, a busy person, love to travel, a scrapbooker
After much research and shopping, I finally chose this camera to replace my smaller, older model. The main things I was looking for were a large zoom (this one has 10x optical) and a "sports" setting for action shots. This camera has both, plus lots more. It was very affordable at under $400, and I have gotten several great pictures from it, even though I haven't learned how to set all the manual settings myself yet. — I would highly recommend this camera for anyone who wants a great camera with lots of bells & whistles but doesn't want to go all out yet with an…

It's a good camera for a beginner or intermediate photographer. It takes high quality photos and good quality videos. I recommended it to my sister, who bought one too. I use mine every day for just taking snapshots of the kid and cats, but I take it with me and use it along with my 35mm Canon when I shoot weddings, proms, baby and family portraits, and my freelance stuff. I actually find myself using it MORE than the 35mm now, because film is expensive and the quality of these digital pix is so…

I've had this camera for a little over a year and love it. I've taken a ton of pics and love the quality. — 12X Zoom - The zoom is great on this camera. It's one of the reasons I bought it. — 6 Megapixels - Sure, nowadays you can get much higher megapixel count for around the same price but unless you are planning on blowing up huge posters, 6 megapixels is all you'll ever need. The quality is fantastic. — Settings - This camera pretty much has all the settings you'll need. From Sports / Landscape / Portrait / Twilight / Night…

looking for durability, love photography, remote control fiend, a person who enjoys quality, not rich, in need of a long lasting battery, reliant on my phone, willing to pay for quality
The Sony DSC-H2 has a 12 zoom 6.0 mp, has scene modes and manual, aperture priorty and shutter priority modes, and is a great camera. You can add the telephoto and macro lenses. I owned the Sony DSC-H5 and the pictures were soft. The H2 the pictures are detailed, clear, sharp and crisp. Where has this camera been all my life? The sky is actually blue and I am wowing myself all the time with this camera. — …

I love the dsc h2 camera. — I had an old Mavica and it worked great but I wanted something that could do action shots as well as having various settings that I can adjust. I also wanted a camera that could do fast shots. — It also has burst mode and that is the bomb. I was at a party and was taking pics of the kids (4 yr olds) and the camera took clean crisp shots. — …

I can't praise this camera enough! It is still a bit advanced for me, but it has been a wonderful camera. The Macro setting has been simply wonderful for close up still shots of flowers etc. The video camera works like a charm and is easy to use. I haven't really read the instructions at all. DH and I have mostly just figured everything out that we use on it. Fantastic…

Great camera. The price is unbelievable for what you get. Audio, video and good pics. Easy to use and light. I was always carry a manual camera because I did not trust digital cameras. Last vacation I did not take one. It was easy to use and lasted for 10 day vacation. —…
