Sony - Cyber-shot DSC-H7 Digital Camera —
This is my second Sony camera. My first camera was the Sony Mavica which I loved but it was definitely time to upgrade. I'm enjoying the higher megapixels and zoom as well as the duo pro memory versus the pocket CD memory the Mavica used. I am having a little trouble with red eye but there are manual settings I haven't yet had the opportunity to take advantage of that may well cure that. The camera has a sports setting which will take a series of rapid shots which I really like because we attend sporting events. The camera comes with a lens hood that I've experimented with. It does seem to help in certain settings, however, if you get it on incorrectly, you do get shadows in your photos. Sony needs to work on this so that a person can quickly add the hood when they need to as it can often take 2-3 tries to get it placed properly.
