Sony VGN-NW130J

Sony VGN-NW130J
Willing to pay for quality

NOV

2009

I bought this laptop the weekend that they were released at the Sony store. I needed a computer for school and I thought the price was right at about [$] with tax. So far I love it, it's small and does not weigh much. It is extremely fast as well. I have not had a chance to use it for long periods of time running just off of the battery so I can't say much about that. My only complaint is that it has a high gloss finish on the outer shell which doesn't bother me too too much, what does bother me is that this high gloss is also found near the wrist area as you type. So it is highly prone to finger...

Sony Vaio VGN-NW270F/S

Sony Vaio VGN-NW270F/S

NOV

Calling a laptop stylish can be an insult because it could mean it's overdesigned to the point where it interferes with its functionality. The Vaio NW270 boasts a unique look and feel but remains comfortable and easy to use. The plastic chassis is textured, with a grooved pattern looks like a fine wood grain, almost bamboolike in appearance. The textured plastic covers the lid as well as the keyboard deck. This model is silver; you can also fine the same configuration in white, pink, and brown.

The touch pad, too, is textured, but in its case, it's a grid of raised dots. The feel is an acquired...

Sony Vaio FW560F/T

Sony Vaio FW560F/T

Several months ago, one of our favorite retail laptops was the older sony vaio Besides offering no-hassle Blu-ray playback and a large if not full-HD 1,600x900-pixel 16.4-inch screen, it had decent discrete graphics that could handle many mainstream games. At the time, its $1,199 price was a little high, but very good when compared with traditional "gaming" laptops.

Just a few months later, the Sony Vaio FW560F/T has found itself at the top of our retail laptop roundup, a high-end system by definition of its price and features. At $999, however, this Vaio slips right under that psychological $1,000...

Sony Vaio, what can I say, its portable, sleek, lightweight    and easy to use.  I had an acer laptop before purchasing this sony vaio, and I have to tell you, I had problems with the acer.  The mouse didn't work, it would also freeze all the time.  I have not had one problem with this sony vaio laptop.  I have chubby fingers and I love that the keys on the sony vaio are large enough for me to type with ease.   Sony is a name brand that you can trust.  They have been around for a long time and I find that their products are trustworthy.  The sony vaio notebook was not expensive either. ...

Sony SnapLab Digital Photo

Sony SnapLab Digital Photo

Nextel has never made a serious effort to invest in rich, vibrant displays. Sure, recent models like the i580 had screens that were easy on the eyes, but the i335 is a return to Nextel's roots. Its display measures just 1.5 inches and has relatively low resolution (65,536 colors, 130x130 pixels). As expected, photos and graphics aren't very sharp, and Nextel's multipage menu system looks rather antiquated, but this is a phone that concentrates more on brawn than on beauty. Design lovers won't be impressed, but worker bees accustomed to a Nextel phone probably won't mind. You can change the display's...

I have a sony vio laptop and i have had it for many many years. It was a really good computer when i got it. My mother got a hold of it and messed it up but i works pretty good still. It is faster now that i re formated it.Which means i took everything off of the computer and put everything back on there like it was a brand new computer.

The Sony VIAO NS240E is a fast, easy to use computer. It has a big hard drive for all your programs, photos, videos, and other memories that you want to store on a portable computer. It has a great body, with a nice feeling texture and good overal design. The keyboard is big and easy to use, and the trackpad is big enough for normal work. The screen is bright with solid backlighting. The screen is not color corrected, however, and the pictures are lighter then they are suposed to be on a color calibrated monitor, which is bad for me as I am a graphic designer and this is a problem. Other then this,...

The Sony Vaio VGNNW125J is a completely different design compared to the plastic-feel of the HP laptops. This laptop features a tan body with ridges, and merged perfectly in a home environment. It has a 15.5" widescreen LCD and the keyboard buttons are perfect for the big-figered mortals. Each key is set separately into the body, giving little room for dust particles to settle in over time. There is a built-in webcam and microphone on top of the screen.

The DVD is HD ready, so you can connect this laptop to a HDTV and watch HD programming. The battery life is not adequate compared to some other...

My pink sony viao goes with me everywhere. My sony was a gift from my husband. We both travel on business so we go a lengthy amount of time without seeing eachother so he got me a laptop for web chating on skype. The webcam quality is great it is like he is sitting right there infront of me. If only sony could make a laptop that you could step through that would be the best upgrade this laptop could get. I love photography so im always taking pictures and this laptop allows me to upload my photos fast and the photo workshop helps me edit them to perfection. I love it!! Im also a wirter so i...

I got my sony vaio laptop as a gift in january 08.  The excitement i felt was however shortlived as i started having some issues with it soon after.  the keys sometime stiffen up of their own volition, the mouse has the same issue.  to worsen everything, it takes 'forever' to boot at start-up.  i could have returned it but due to some issues at the time of purchase, we couldn't.  i'm still managing it and hoping my economy will improve soon enough so i can get a really good and workable laptop for my work.  I don't think i'll be doing sony again though.  i feel they are unnecessarily over-priced...
