This is a great camera with good quality picture and sound.  But even though it claims to have the Super steady shot system, you can still tell the video is shaking a bit unless you set the camera down.  Plus, if you want to use some features such as a fade to black at the end, you have to go into the menu in the touch LCD screen to do so, which is difficult when you are trying to shoot.  But all in all, I like it, and would recommend it.

I have been shooting with this videocam for the past 2 years. It ALWAYS exceeds my expectations. The tapes allow you to have an archived version and eliminate artifacts when you are panning. Suprisingly, the sound is pretty good just with the camera, adding the boom mic on the top helps also. I love this camera and would recommend it again and again.
