I found that this stereo in particular grew old too quickly. With only a slight bump to it or barely any movement at all, the cd will stop and spin. Otherwise, it is small and easy to move--light and transportable. The buttons are easy, and the remote is convenient (when it works). I have an early version of the Sony stereo that I love, and the remote is much more reliable, as is the cd player. It's much easier to use and much more dependable, soundwise. Comparably, I'm rather disappointed with the newer version.
