Wow. How could I get through a Chicago winter without my Sony Bravia? It's my guilty pleasure! The picture is awesome and the tv is so easy to work and navigate. We are happy with this purchase and plan on getting another for our basement some day. Picture Quality Beautiful, clear picture. Don't need my glasses to see anything (even words) unless it's super tiny. Sound Quality The sound is fantastic. Just like being in a theater. Durability The tv is perched up high and away from any possible accidents. Have had no issues with its durability. Design The tv is sleek and unpretentious in design. Blends in well with our decor. Performance Love the performance of our Sony Bravia and are planning to purchase another one because of it.

I don't hate my TV, I had to buy one and at the time this one was the right price and the right size. My only complain is the lusterless style that is so common on all Sony TVs. Sometimes it feels like if a was watching TV while I am sitting inside a car and the rain is pouring outside. Well, I am being dramatic, but sharpness and brightness are not Sony's trademark. However, when it comes to video games, this TV is awesome. It adds texture and depth to any video game from any console, specially in HD. No complains about the sound. Picture Quality Lusterless, sometimes not fast enough and everything is blocky. Like if it was a scratched DVD. Durability So far so good, had it for a couple years now. No dead pixels on the screen. Design Basic TV, nothing to be excited about. Remote control is almost generic style, and the menu and features are also very simple, sometimes a bit annoying. Performance Never had a problem with it. A trooper.

All LCD tvs are not created equal. This tv is amaing. I love the picture and the simplicity of the remote. To be honest my husband picked this out to watch "the game" but I love it too. We bought a "value brand" tv for another room but the quality of the Sony is far superior.

I am hardly any good with electronics but setting up my 42" Sony LCD HD Tv was a breeze.  I was even able to mount it on the wall with an extra set of hands.  My family and I enjoy watching movies and shows together on a large, clear screen.  My husband is also a huge fan of playing his Modern Warfare on this tv.  I love its look, it goes great with our living room decor as well.

I am so happy with my Bravia KDL-46V2500.  The picture is phenomenal, it has excellent image quality and the HD is the best on this television.  I wall mounted it and found that the mounting was extremely easy and quick.  It is one of the best I have seen in the HD market.

My husband Loves it, Loves it, Loves it; and so do I. The **Sony - Bravia KDL-46V2500 42" HD LCD** is a blessing to us both as my husband is hard of hearing. After wearing his hearing aids all day he just wants to come home and relax without them.  In the past, he has had to turn the TV volume so much that I couldn't stand it.  I would go watch the same show in another room.  I don't have to that any more.  The old TV's closed caption feature would take up a large part of the picture and so we rarely used it.The Sony's wide screen allows for the closed caption feature to be discreet and not take up so much space.  I can actually sit and watch a television show with him now.We researched LCD televisions before we bought it.  Our old Sony television was about 10 years old, still going strong so we trusted Sony to make us proud.  We could have paid much less for a comparable TV but the excellent ratings and reviews of the Sony Bravia made us decide on spending the extra money.  After eight months of use we are satisfied that we made the right choice.  The picture is clear and realistic.  The sound is sharp and never distorted.  The cabinet is sleek and looks good- even in our home of antique furniture.Bravo to Sony Bravia!  Good job.

By now, there are much better HDTVs on the market than this one. That's jut the nature of technology and the nature of TVs. But Sony is a solid brand, and you're usually not going to go too wrong looking at their products. This TV seems to have some issues with overscan, but almost all HDTVs that I've encountered do, as they seem to be designed for people who want the image to fill their entire screen, no matter how it was intended to be viewed. That's a bit of a shame. Otherwise, the picture is really clear and sharp on this TV and it looks great whether watching HD tv programming, DVDs or Blu-rays. Watching standard TV doesn't feel good enough for this piece of machinery. I would recommend pairing it up with a nice Blu-ray player to get the most bang for your buck. I think the 42 inch size is pretty prefect for most homes. It strikes a nice balance between sizes. Any smaller is too small.

The Sony Bravia is a good tv, I've got the 2009 model. The picture is crazy, which means it's good. HD looks perfect. The Sony Bravia makes watching movies feel like you're in the theater. The sound was also great, it was stereo quality sound which had bass to it. So, you'll feel the sounds of guns, bombs, fights, etc. I think the best part of a TV is the sound and picture, so the Bravia exceeded my expectations. I was going to buy the Sony Bravia surround sound system but it sound quality was already up there so I didn't need to, but that wouldn't have hurt at all.  It's just perfect the way it is. There are many features on the Sony Bravia. One of those would be the sound types, you can change it to theater, music, game, etc. Another thing to add if you have a Bravia is the broadband link device. It's made for the Bravia and puts internet on your TV.   There is not one con in my opinion for the Sony Bravia.
