After doing alot of research, My Wife and I decided on the Sony Bravia kdl-32nl140. We upgraded from a Sony Wega 22" Lcd so the size difference was noticeable. We purchased the tv from Sams Club in Massachusetts. The tv was up and running within minutes of unpacking to the setup is really easy. The quality of the picture is the best i have seen on any lcd. There are 2 component inputs and 2 HDMI inputs as well. I used the HDMI cable to hook up the dvd player and i recommend using it. I will be changing my cable box to one with an HDMI input so the regular channels come in clearer as well. Now for my gripes. The sound quality is ok. I was hoping for better but i can tolerate it. The other thing that bothers me a bit is the warm up time. Once you turn the tv on, I counted 10 seconds until the picture actually comes up. I am currently using the Harmony One all in one remote control and i'm having issues with how the tv's inputs "cycle" through. This is a minor issue but i thought i would bring it up. The last little thing is the glossy trim around the screen. I was looking for a tv with a matte finish but once again, the picture quality won me over. The glossy trim reflects lights in the room and can be a little distracting. I would have to say that this tv more than meets my expectations. I am a happy customer.
