This camera was used for my husband's online public speaking class. I have to say I was impressed with the quality of the video. It does take pictures, but unless you are out in a well lit area they will not turn out well. The battery stays charged for an extended period of time. It's extremely easy to use and post things to Facebook, YouTube, etc. This would be a great camera for a blogger (hence the name) or someone who likes to post videos online.
