Sony BabyCall Nursery Monitor NTM-910 900 MHz — 

This monitor works very well, has great clarity and a very long range. It works very well and we like it quite a lot.
However, it beeps really annoyingly when ... well, we really had to do some detective work to find out why and to fix it, as this doesn't seem to be documented anywhere. We had a Sony cordless phone and we found out that if that uses certain channels, it interferes with the baby monitor and causes this really annoying noise. I am still not sure if this is supposed to be an out of range noise or an acoustic feedback, but it suddenly went away after we changed channels of our cordless Sony phone.
So, with said noise, the machine becomes useless at night because the noise is so loud that it can act as an alarm clock. However, once we solved this problem, the monitor worked great and we really liked it. We wished Sony would address this issue somehow or at least clearly writes how to solve it.
Other than that, in the age of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi networks, isn't it on time to bring out a baby monitor based on those techniques, rather than this old fashioned way of communicating?
