I love this monitor. Of course I have never had a different one. I got this one because we were not sure if we were going to move, so I thought in that case I would want one in my room and one in the kitchen / living room.  When looking for monitors I found out that if you purchase 2 sets and set them to the same setting they will both work. That was a plus for me. I purchased one for now and when I move I will purchase an additional one. I also love that I can unplug it and take the monitor around with me.
