The Sony Bravia is a good value for the money.

By

from Houston, TX

Comments about Sony BRAVIA in. HDTV LCD TV:

Not only was the the Bravia a good value for the money, the Sony Bravia has a great High Definition picture. I was a bit disappointed when I had to go back to the store for an HDMI cable, but that wasn't Sony's fault. The Bravia was a cinch to set up. Hang it on the wall and plug it in - that's it - right out of the box. The HDMI connections were easy to get to and well placed. The picture qualtiy isn't the best of all of the HD television sets I looked at but again, the price to value ratio was right for me. The remote control is easy to use but not very stylish, and didn't seem like it fit the TV's style which I though was well designed. It would have been nice to have a better designed remote with a back light for low light operation. The audio isn't what I would have expected for a higher end TV, but it suffices. I've owned this TV for over a year and have had no problems to this point.

Sony Bravia Z-Series KDL-46Z4100/S 46-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV,

By

from Sparks, NV

Comments about Sony BRAVIA in. HDTV LCD TV:

This television set has been in our home office for almost three years. The clarity of the picture is excellent, the on-board settings are easy to read and scroll through.

This particular television as well as its partner, who sits in an adjacent room (Sony Bravia V-Series KDL-52V4100) have a feature we did not care about until recently: This is one of the few television sets that will provide you with a TV guide.

When we were receiving transmissions via satellite or cable, we used the guide streamed by the satellite provider and found the built-in guide useless. However, we have since cut the cord with the cable company/satellite and have found the built-in guide priceless. What a great feature to have! The guide is populated in less than 48 hours and the interface is very attractive and colorful.

This television set is 120Hz, a desirable feature according to the experts, however, we can't tell the difference when we compare it to its relative in the next room at 60Hz.

This model can easily connect via HDMI cable to box sets, blu-ray players, consoles or cable boxes. The sound quality is wonderful and no external speakers are required for every day watching. Easy on screen settings to adjust volume,

The remote control is backlit making it easy to press buttons in the dark. It can easily coordinate with Sony Blu-ray player to use only one remote to control both devices.

Exceptional picture

Comments about Sony BRAVIA in. HDTV LCD TV:

I have owned this model for 24 months with no service issues. Sony has always stood for quality reliable products.  This model came out about the same time as the XBR9 and I was able to compare the two side by side.  There was virtually no difference in picture quality to justify the additional cost of the XBR9. It features a thin bezel which gives a nice appearance mounted on the wall. The 46 inch size  is suitable for a small to medium room, but for a larger application I would recommend a 52 inch model. The 120hz refresh rate is more than adequate for watching sports.

Sony Bravia's picture quality is superb!

By

Comments about Sony BRAVIA in. HDTV LCD TV:

We have had our Sony Bravia LCD HDTV now for approximately nine months and have it connected to cable through our local cable company.  The HD channels have the crispest, cleanes pictures imagineable.  My only complaint is the volume from the tv set alone is not sufficient for most television viewing in a large living room.  Fortunately, we connected a top-quality stereo system to amp up the volume and now use the stereo whenever we notice a volume issue while watching tv.  This television also has capability to connect directly to your internet and several other great connection possibilities as in HDMI, etc.  The picture is fantastic and overall we love the Sony Bravia HD LCD television.
