This is the first flat-screen TV that I ever purchased and so I did a bunch of research before I pulled the trigger. So far, I am extremely pleased with the Sony Bravia KDL-V32XBR2! I use this LCD TV in the bedroom and even though we are about 14 feet away from it, it is plenty big enough.

To be honest, I went to the store hoping NOT to like the Sony. My perception was that their flat-screen TVs were expensive relative to other well-respected brands like Panasonic, and I really didn't want to pay a premium for the Sony brand. Unfortunately, I fell in love with the crisp display and the beautiful...

To the Point

We finally broke down and bought a new television. We went with the 32" because it had to fit in our entertainment unit. We love it. The whole name is Sony
32" Class BRAVIA® XBR Series LCD Flat Panel HDTV (31.5" diagonal)

A Closer View

Since I know very little about televisions except how to turn them on and off and watch what I want I am going to leave most of the technical issues to the website http://www.sonystyle.com.

The Sony Bravia television's sound is terrific. The clarity is superb. It's so crisp.  Once in awhile we'll use the remote to make the picture brighter but that has...

Sony Bravia has succeeded in bringing to life what we see on TV. The contrast is sharp and the resolution high. HD pictures are awesome. The TV installation was easy and I got it right the first time. Regular DVD movies are sharp and better viewed on Bravia. The television puts out minimal heat and its menu was easy to set up. I would recommend Bravia to everyone.

After, my old TV burned out, ( literally), I looked for a new one. This had been the first time I ever bought a television on my own.  I decided to purchase the Sony Bravia KDL-32XBR2 32 inch HD TV. It was delivered by Sony, set up, and works beautifully. The sound is perfect, like a surround sound. It is light weight, flat-screen, with a clear , vibrant, picture.  IT has been one of my favorite purchases , since I've never had a flat screen television nor an HD. I found the cost of the Sony Bravia to be very reasonable. I believe in buying well known manufactured products, and I can honestly...

I recently purchased a 32" Sony Bravia from Best Buy for $900.

I'm very satisfied with the size, quality, and value, but I would recommend anyone buying an HDTV to also invest in an HDTV cable or satellite subscription. After having HDTV I find it frustrating to watch standard channels, the quality is -that- good.

If I could change one thing about the Bravia, I'd include fully customizable viewing modes. I find their "wide and wide-zoom" presets to be a bit frustrating. I never use them for standard channels because they cut off or distort the images.

I purchased this product at Costco at a very good price compared to well-known big box stores. With tax it was just over $900.  I wanted the Sony quality and reputation, having owned Sony televisions in the past, all of which were excellent quality and lasted a long time.

The Bravia was easy to install (I did it myself - the instructions were easy to follow). The picture quality is very good, even though I don't have HDTV. The sound quality from the TV speakers is also good. Overall, I'm very impressed with this product and would recommend it. Sony

being a first time buyer of LCD and not knowing much of hdtv, 720i or 1080p , ive always had good luck with Sony products so I dipped my toe  into the LCD world and purchased this tv. I was glad I did, it surpassed my idea of great tv and when I first seen an Actual HD channel I was sold!!  and I think you will be also.

I shopped Samsung and Toshiba before purchasing the Sony. I made the right choice!  The images are very sharp, especially viewing HD programming.  The video has such dimension!  It was extremely easy to set up and connect to my home theatre system.  The screen is easy to view in all lighting conditions.

After moving from a house to an apartment, I went shoping for my first flat screen TV.  I did a little on line research first about performance and ratings, but mostly compared the picture quality and price of units on the display floor. So many of the TVs were huge!  I wasn't interested in a close up view of someone's back molars. Most of my TV viewing is for movies and DVDs. I especially like film noir and other classic black and white movies.

Everything they say about downsizing is true - Watching TV in the 12 x15 apartment living room, I felt very crowded in comparison with my old 15x18 TV...

We bought the Sony Bravia 32 inch LCD HDTV several month ago when my husband (of course!) decided we needed a new TV. We didn't have the money to get a huge one, and we also knew we would be moving soon so we wanted a size that was easily portable. After looking in stores and reading up online, we selected the Sony Bravia because of the high reviews it had received and it was priced comparably to other 32 inch TVs. We have been very satisfied with it. The picture is nice and clear. It i very lightweight and easy for even me to move by myself. One of the features I like (that several of the other...

We bought the Sony Bravia 32" television this past year with our tax return money. The picture quality is outstanding on this television and very user friendly. We have been slightly disappointed in two things with this television. The first is the volume control. On our previous television we have "smart" volume control, where we could set the volume control and it stayed the same on every station. The Sony Bravia does not offer that feature, so you are constantly having to adjust your volume control. The second problem that we have encountered is when you first turn the television on it shows...

I jumped in and bought a Sony Brava last spring just before baseball season and it was surely the most intelligent buy I have ever made. The picture of HD is a whole leap forward in tv design. I would tell anyone who was in the market for a tv or thinking at all about HD that Sony is the way to go. This 32 inch sceen Brava seems twice that size and you would  think that you had front row seats in  the finest Broadway thearter. Take my advise and stop and look at the Sony Brava, and listen to the Brava and you will see what I am enjoying eveyday.

My experience at Sears was great even through they did not have the product I was looking for they gave me a discount off the sale price of the next model up which is the Sony 32' Bravia which ended up being the price of the original model I went in for. So far we are very happy with our choice. The picture and sound is so clear it's unbelievable you feel like your at the movie theater. Two thumbs up for both Sears and Sony.

I just got the Sony TV this past weekend (2/17/08) and couldn't be happier.  The picture is fantastic for both digital AND DVD viewing.  Set-up was very easy to follow and although I didn't wall mount it, the 32" fit perfectly into my existing television cabinet (although I did have to remove the doors on the cabinet).  Esthetically, it looks great and puts a modern bent to a traditional room.
