I waited untill the technolegy hade a chance to mature, and price dropped somewhat. I knew that some Hi-Defs had problems with burn-in, and others couldn't produce good "blacks".

We are now spoiled by 1080p picture qaulity, anything else doesn't cut it. The Sony is 5 months old now, no problems at all....

I purchased a Sony 52 inch HD flat screen TV for Christmas 2007. In early August 2008 the black colors change to red and dark blue changed to pink/purple. I called Sony for service and I found out that they farm out their service to a company called Qualxserve.

Qualxserve call me 2 days after I reported...

This is a product you definitely want to shop around for; including online. I kept getting the best price at Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Circut City and a Sony Outlet. Best Buy was the cheapest at the time. I shopped several online locations but you have to be careful they are not factory returns. Finally, I was able to get the best deal from the Sony outlet store. They would not negociate on price but would match the online price.

I also chose not to purchase the extra warrenty. I believe this is not a good deal. It was fairly easy to set up a surround sound sterio and blue ray. Blue Ray movies are...

In choosing a new television my features list was precise.  50" or larger, picture in picture, PC monitor ability, 1080p, multiple HDMI inputs, anti-glare screen.  The list of televisions that fit my needs was very short.  After multible trips to different retailers to view picture quality and play with picture adjustments, etc., it became very clear that the Sony line consistantly had the best picture quality after adjusting the picture settings.  I could not see a difference in picture quality between this W series and the XBR so I purchased this set.  It was more money than I planned on...

I thought my husband was insane for wanting to spend so much money on a television. I thought that they're all just about the same so why bother spending so much. I was so wrong though. The picture quality is so fabulous, you can see why people spend the extra $10 through the cable company to get everything in HD. Also, I like that even with the sun shining in through the window, there is no glare. We have ours mounted on a full swivel on the wall but even when viewing it from an extreme angle, you can still see the picture perfectly. The colors all come out really well too! All in all, I think...

I am still truely amazed at the picture quality of my Sony Bravia Television.  I looked at much higher priced HDTVs None of them ccompared to the quality of this Bravia I would highly recommend this television to anybody looking for a large screen LCD High definition television! The picture for a 52 inch television is absolutely incredible.  It was a little bit tough to hookup to all my other home theater equipment, but with HDMI cables I was able to do it without any help. ( I am severely technically challanged)

I recently purchased Sony's 52W3000, a 52 inch LCD TV that has impressed me every day since purchase. The picture is so amazingly clear and crisp I can hardly believe a consumer can get such high quality in their own living room. The 52W comes with plenty of inputs to ensure all of your components (i.e. DVD player, VCR, Gaming System, Digital, Satellite and/or Cable box) have a home. The TV comes with an easy to understand menu and simple setup process. The best part is, out of the box it is ready to go.

Because of the digital conversion coming up we decided to but a new, flat screen television.  We opted for a Sony Bravia, 52" set up.  WOW!  The clarity, color and depth at the showroom were amazing.  While there are an incredible array of choices, this model had all the features we wanted.  Seeing this one next to all the other brands convinced us it had the best picture of all.
