Sony BRAVIA KDL-40V2500 40 in. HDTV LCD Television Review

sony bravia 40" tv in hdtv has gotten me to watch tv again.  just by chance saw it at  a great price at sam's club (less than 1000) and took a chance with it.  yesterday had direct tv people come out and hook up the hd part of it.  no comparison to what i had been watching before.  as the price comes down, i may consider getting another sony bravia because once one has watch "any show" on hd, there is no going back or get it as a great holiday gift for the family next year.

it came with the stand or hook to set the tv in place and it is very easy to assemble.  one does not need an engineering degree.  having surround sound, one can actually hear what is being said without raising the  volume.  makes for some nice consideration for those family members in another part of the house.

the only other way to make one understand how different watching tv is on a sony bravia is two  words  "dial up" .  just think back to working on the computer using dial up and then switching to road runner or dsl.   no going back,  is there?

whether one gets a new sony bravia as an upgrade or just because one wants it, it is fantastic.  only wish i had gotten one a few years back.
