The playstation 3 is a great product!  I would highly recommend this for anyone!  The graphics look so real, with having higher capacity discs we get more for the price and a better quality!  I really think that this game has the best graphics of any console gaming unit!  The Playstation 3 also has a built in blu-ray player for the best movie experience,   it looks almost like you are there. You can also watch regular dvds in the ps3, it also makes the quality of regular dvds better.   I recommend you  buy the 80GB console because then you can also play all of your ps2 and ps1... read full review »

The Sony Playstation 3 is the best entertainment system ever created!

I admit the game library is not that of the Xbox 360, but the PS3 is so much more.  The PS3 has built in Wi-Fi, so you don't have to run a cable for the internet.  It has a built in web browser.  It has 4 usb 2.0 ports.  It takes SD, Compact Flash, and MemoryStick/duo camera cards.  You can rent and buy movies online from the Playstation Network.  1 HDMI port. No power cord "power block" to hide.  Plays music and pictures. You can even play video's right off of a memory card or usb memory stick AND save it to the...

This machine can do just about anything provided you know how to opporate it.  Of course, if you know how to set up a computer then I'm sure you can figure out how to get the most out of your PS3.  The PS3 is literaly like a personal computer, because you can add anysize internal hard drive you want as long as its Serial ATA, and you can even install windows or linux on the new hard drives.  It has a built in wireless reciever that really picks up strong signals I might add, and the most stunning graphics you will ever get from a video game system when you pair it with an HDTV.  Granted there... read full review »

I have always been a huge fan of the Playstation. I got the first one on the day it came out, as with the Playstation 2. I bought the PS3 a week after it came out, and although there are not many games I like to play, the graphics are amazing. Not to mention the fact you can also use it as a blue ray player, which if you go out and buy one, that alone will run you more than the game system. I have yet to find any games that do not work from PS2 and PS1.

This is the best of the Gaming Industry. Better graphics, sound, everything. Plays Blueray movies, and disks. Future games will be longer, and more excited. Sony gives you the best for less. Some Blueray players cost more than a PS3. But Sony gives it too you for less. And to me, I think it is just as good if not better. It is more than a video game console! Play movies in true quality. It has a place where you can hook an HDMI cable to a TV (preferably an HDTV) I can go on and on, But There Isn't Any Words To Describe It, except REMARKABLE. You can get rid of your DVD player, Stereo, and stuff.... read full review »

The playstation 3 console has been so much fun for me and my family. We had bought a nintendo Wii first because the controllers responding to your movement seemed like fun. I quickly realized how much more important gameplay is. The playstation 3 is all about gameplay and has plenty of great games to play on the console. And as an added bonus it also works as a Blu Ray player. Most Blu Ray players cost as much as the playstation three but only do one function. I know have a dvd player and cd player sitting in the closet because they are no longer needed plus I didnt have to buy a Blu Ray player... read full review »

Even though the Playstation 3 is the most expensive current generation system it provides a grat value.  I've had the Xbox 360 and the Wii and this is my favorite so far.  The Xbox requires so many add-ons and you run the risk of it breaking.  Wii is great fun, but gets a little old after a while.  With the Playstation 3 you get cutting edge graphics a built in Blu-Ray Player (which can almost justify the price alone), wireless built-in, and free online service.  You can't beat that.  It's also got a good selection of games that continues to get better.

Being an avid "gamer", I've tried all the new age systems out there.  By a wide margin, the Playstation 3 greatly surpasses them all.  Not only is the graphics engine top of the line, but it also allows you to have a Blue-Ray DVD player included.  It also allows you the freedoms of wireless internet capabilities and HD display without having to buy expensive adapters (like the X-Box 360).  Everything from the controller(s) to the internet, the Playstation 3 should be a "MUST HAVE" for any serious gamer.

While it doesn't have backwards compatibility for PS2 games or the memory stick/sd stick reader it has a ton of room and for the price......the best blu ray player on the market bar none.  I myself have a 60 and constantly have to delete content in order to have room.  I do play some PS2 games, but really there are so many PS3 games out that I don't really want to play a blocky game much any more......the only one that will beat this is the new 160GB with uncharted and the best downloadable game ever....PAIN!!!

I got this brand new last christmas from a guy who won it at a christmas party.  Paid $400 for it, great deal, I know.  Since then I have gone crazy playing this system. I play it almost everyday and have gotten more than $400 of amusement out of it, that's for sure.  Besides being a great system, it's also a blu-ray player and dvd upconverter.  I am still in shock when I see people buying Xbox3 360s. Some people just don't know what they are missing!  Buy it! Buy it now!

For gaming you cannot go wrong with the Playstation 3!  Some of the PS3 games look so lifelike you sometimes think you are watching tv instead of playing a video game.  The wireless controllers are reliable and the PS3 itself is good for more than just gaming.  It's like a little computer with an Blu Ray DVD player.  You can use simple USB plugins to watch your home movies or view pictures on your tv and the Blu Ray movies are simply fantastic.

Nice design with quiet operation; all games in high-definition; PSP-like user-friendly interface; plays high-def Blu-ray movies in addition to upscaling standard DVDs; built-in Wi-Fi and flash media reader; 80GB hard drive; online play is free; HDMI output with 1080p support; no external power supply; free online gaming service; plays PS2 and PS1 games; backwards compatibility is hardware based.

The best gaming system there is. The high definition was the thing that originally lured me in. The price was a little high, but it was definately worth it. Now that Blu-ray is taking a lead on HD DVD, I realized that i had made the better choice over the X-box 360. I love the graphics that this system has. The game selection isnt the best, but the available selection is of high quality.

The playstation three is a great system. The Blue Ray movies are amazing! You would never want to watch another regular DVD again, I don't. The pictures are so clear and so graphic. I love this system. The only bad thing was the price at five hundred dollars. Other then that I highly recommend the playstation three. Oh yeah and the games are so much more real looking.

This is a great system especially since it includes a blu ray player.  I think the system overall is good, but the games are advertised as multi  player but honestly most of the games can only be played multi player online not against a friend sitting in your living room.  To me this is a large downfall, and makes the games pretty boring.
