We recently bought the Sony 46 inch 3D LCD TV and are really enjoying the beautiful picture. Now I am not at all electronic literate by any means, but I do know what I like. The picture is absolutely vivid and colorful and the television itself is very sleek and suits are small space beautifully, even with my old-fashioned taste. I do have a problem with the sound quality, however. The volume is not very good compared to other televisions I have owned in the past. It just doesn't project as well as it should across the room without having to turn up the volume louder than most tvs. Also, my boyfriend says that it didn't come with a user manual so using the remote to figure out how to use it was a bit of a pain. But, all in all, it has been a good tv and the picture is just like being right there. So, in my opinion, the cons are very minimal.

Sony is a brand like none other. There TV's are usually known for their picture quality and reliability. This one is no different. The picture is quality is excellent. We picked this TV because it fits in our entertainment center, was 3D and connects to the internet wirelessly. I get to watch all kinds of TV content and movies online. The remote is sort of cumbersome and large. The screen is very thin and easy to move. The 3D feature is really something. My wife and I watched the Alice in Wonderland movie and it was awesome. The speakers are kind of weak, but we have it connected to our surround sound so that doesn't matter. All in all a great TV.

Sony is a very trusted brand and is a brand like none other.  46" is a very good size for a decent sized room.  We just graduated from 37 to 46 and the difference is heaven and hell.  The Television  has some very excellent feature, which eleminates the need to have multile devices attached.  It has 5 HDMI plug points, so basically everything gets attahced through HDMI cables, it has other input as well.  You can connect to the internet wirelessly, which allows you to watch streaming videos online, as well as surf the net.  You can watch netflix movies online.  The picture quality is excellent, there is no blur, you can see the same picture quality from various angles.  The remote is big, but manageable.  The screen is very thin, eyt heavy.  Looks like a solid Television.  What we love the most is the #d feature, it does justice to the format, but you wont have the same effect as in he theatre.  We have ordered subwoofer, lets see if that make a difference.
