What a marvelous invention! I am a BZZAgent & got to review the UV Sanitizer from Phillips Sonicare. It was delivered 11/26 by UPS. I opened it, read the instructions & then husband cut it open. Even he stated what a unique item that can save lives by cutting out any EColi, Saminella, and all bacteria that grows within 20 minutes after you use a toothbrush. In the past I used to pour leftover boiled water from the tea kettle over the brushes. NO MORE!
The UV Sanitzer works with Sonicare ProResults, Oral-B Flexswoft & Oral-B Floss Action brushheads. Unfortunately after I read this I had to hit the grocery store to get Oral-B Vitality rechargeable toothbrushes at $20 each. The UV Sanitzer had a brush head holder that you click your brushhead onto (it an only go on the right way) & it is looking at the UV Light, then you push the green button on top after closing the door & it blinks & then the big blue light shows for 10 minutes sanitizing he brushes. When complete a solid green light will show, that means it is done. Store brushheads inside til ready to use them again. Of course do not put caps on brushheads to sanitize. That is after sanitation so when you travel, your brushheads are clean & germ free.
Sonicare now will have a great web site: www.germshappen.com so parents & their kids can read about the bacteria growing on their toothbrushes & now the UV Sanitziers kills it all in 10 minutes. A family of 4 can do all toothbrushes in 20 minutes. Install for 2 brushheads, sanitize & put caps over them onto power unit & then sanitize the next 2. No more germs, bacteria or viruses to make your family ill..
The UV Light will work for 5 years then replace. Brushheads should be replaced every 3 months to keep those pearly whites in perfect shape. Dentists recommend Sonicare & now you know why.
$49.99 for the unit are various stores. It is also part of the Phillips Sonicare Flexcare for $169.00 at various stores.
I was given 7 $5 off coupons, so this morning I was at Target in the Steelyard Commons. At 6:30AM it ws amazing how many folks are in the store shopping. So I spoke with about 20 of them, asking how they disinfect their rechargeable toothbrushes, since manual ones are dinosaurs in 2007-2008. I showed the unit to a woman who was quite interested. She wants to keep herself & family germ free & no illnesses. I told her how easy it is to use. The woman bought 4, for her mother, herself & 2 grown kids. All use Sonicaree toothbrushes, so this was the perfect Christmas present. So I gave her 4 $5 off coupons & she hugged me. Many just looked & then walked since Hannah Montana & clearance clothes was more important.
Isn't it great to make someone's day by helping them find that perfect present.
