The Philips Sonicare Flexcare R980 electric toothbrush is one of the best gifts I have ever received! For years I used a manual toothbrush and then the less expensive battery operated toothbrushes came out so I switched over to one of those. While the battery operated toothbrush was far better than the manual, I didn't know what a really clean mouth feels like until I started using the Philips Sonicare.

I received the SonicCare FlexCare electric toothbrush with sanitizer through Bzzagent.com.  It was the first electric toothbrush I've ever used, and I was a little nervous about how it would work.

It has different settings that you can choose - deep clean, light, normal, etc.  I use the deep clean, and it is amazing.  It runs on a 45 second cleaning cycle, then changes the vibration to let you know it's time to move to another quadrant of your mouth (top right, top left, bottom right, bottom left).  You've never felt your mouth feel so clean, except when you return from the dentist after a...

The Sonicare electric toothbrush is fabulous at making you feel you're really doing a good cleaning.  The head of this model is smaller, allowing you to get to the spots you might otherwise not concentrate on.  I miss the buzz from the other model that tells you when you've brushed for two minutes, but the accompanying sanitizer is a plus as you feel you're getting rid of germs on the brush.

I'm into serious dental care as I have a tendency for gum problems.  My periodontist recommended using this brush, but you also should floss and make sure you're getting between the teeth as food collects...

I am reviewing the Phillips Sonicare Toothbrush with a built in Sanitizer. I suffer from Rhumitoid arthritis and am prone to mouth sores due to the medicines I am taking. This toothbrush is amazing. I bought the Sonicare FlexCare RS930 model based on friends and co-workers comments and honestly it has not disappointed me. It is a bit pricy but appears to be well built, quite and easy to handle (and really it is not about price but the quality and performance of the product). I have to admit...I did think twice about buying the Sonicare Flexcare. Lets face it

it was 99.00 vs 3.99 toothbrush. I do brush my teeth two times or more a day. I floss

two times a day. I was a dental assistant so I do take care of my teeth.

I switched from the Oral B electric brush to the Sonicare and have never regretted it. It makes my teeth feel like I actually brushed them clean! Easy to use, just hold it on the teeth and wait, the brush does all the work. There has been a noteable difference now when I visit the dentist for my regular cleaning. Also I find the brush heads last a long time, much longer than the Oral B ones did. Another big plus is that the handle part can be washed on the top rack of the dishwasher. I've had my Sonicare system for a year.  I was so surprised at how clean my teeth and how fresh my mouth felt after using the Sonicare .

I bought a later model for my son-in-law and now the entire famiy is using the system.

I'va always had plaque build up between dental appointments and my dentist was surprised that I had very little buildup after using my Sonicare system.

I would recommend this system to everyone.
