I actually won my Sonic care toothbrush in a raffle, so I had no preconceived ideas -- I wasn't familiar with it at all. But, I have to say, I love it! It works so well -- it's almost like you've been to the dentist for a cleaning. Since it has a timer you always know when you still need to brush. I like it for myself, but I think it would also be really great for kids who often don't brush long enough. Since I got it, I found out that the heads need to be replaced regularly, which can add up. However, I would buy a new toothbrush every 8-10 weeks anyway, so it's not as expensive as it first appears. I think that they quality of the cleaning you receive definietly outweighs any cost factors -- I'd rather pay for a great toothbrush than a filling at the dentist's office.
