My gums aren't better or worse - I use the Sonicare Elite 9800.

The Sonicare Elite Professional e9800 was our second Sonicare. The first one lasted for many years. My husband and I have aging teeth and gums. We wanted to buy the top of the line. The Elite will run you about $120 which is for one person.

Pros

The manufacturer will recycle the sonic toothbrush for you (USA customers only). If you call their number they will give you a postage-paid mailer. They assure you that the toothbrush will last for many years, (I do think six years is a good track record.) but when it no longer functions, the batteries used to power Sonicare should be recycled and...

Best Sonicare I have tried.

impressed with this product, committed to dental hygiene, dental-conscious, concerned about oral hygiene., someone who likes to have a nice smile, into good oral hygiene

As a dental professional I have always been on the lookout for great hygiene products to incorporate in my recommendations to my patients. I don't usually recommend Sonicare products as I'm not too keen on the vibrations. I received this sonicare as a gift and gave it a try. I must say I was really impressed. Sonicare has reduced the vibration a bit, making it much easier to tolerate. Like any other powered toothbrush, I felt it cleaned my teeth better then a manual toothbrush.

On the downside, it is still, in my opinion, too expensive for anyone I know to be able to afford it.

Oh my gosh! My dental hygienist told me I would be impressed, but I wasn't expecting this. It cleans my teeth so well, I feel like I"ve had them professionally cleaned every day. How could I ever go back to a regular toothbrush? I have problems with tartar builup on my bottom teeth because they are very tight. Not a problem with this toothbrush. It literally does the work for you. It's awesome.

This is the best toothbrush I have ever used. It makes you feel like your teeth have just been cleaned everytime you brush. Travels great.

i think that this toothbrush is amazing. i eally liked the way itbrushe my teth. i love usig itbecause itreally cleand my teth good aso using their tooth brush a well. it makes my mouh iminty fresh:) i also like white strips nd i wish tis company hd agod white stip. i'm not a ry good speler or typer. the reason that i likedths tooh rush was it waseasy to use. yu just push the utton and start and tw minutes is don rightbefore yur eyes.you don't even need a timer thiswold be a great christmas present t give o anyone. please share with oters andi think that toothbrush sould always be automatic,... read full review »

I think it works so much better than just a normal tooth brush! It made my guns healthier and you can take it anywhere easily.

I love this toothbrush. I got tired of buying the cheaper brushes over and over and decided to go with one with replaceable heads. I am so glad that I did, this is the best toothbrush that I have ever had and my teeth have never felt cleaner! I strongly recommend this toothbrush to anyone who is concerned about their dental hygiene.
