Hello everyone! My name is Laura and I am going to write a review on the Sonicare Elite model electric toothbrush. I have always had trouble with my gums and doing a good job with brushing my teeth and reaching all the hard places. About six years ago my dentist told me about the Sonicare toothbrush and explained to me that this electric toothbrush not only would start to make my gums heal  but that it also took all the work out of brushing your teeth. If you have gingivitis, receeding gums or even partials you are able to use the toothbrush and benefit by it.

This brush does about  700 or more strokes per minute and the great thing about it is that all you have to do is move the brush from quadrant to quadrant as you hear your brush making a beeping noise. You are able to set your brush to brush each section of your mouth for 30 seconds up to one minute and you don't need to make the brushing motion with your hand like you would have to do with a regular non-electric brush. The heads are sold in double, triple and quad packs depending on where you shop and usually you are able to get at least a $5 dollar off coupon with each purchase of new heads. I can't guarantee that but it has been my experience in most cases.

The only con I have for this amazing product is that the heads are not cheap. You usually pay about 20 to 25 dollars per every two heads and the manufacturer recommends that you change the heads every three months just like a regular brush. It definately gets your gums back in shape and helps keep you teeth nice and clean too so I, in my opinion, think it's worth the extra money to buy the brushes verses paying the dentist!

I hope ths review has enlightened anyone who has been debating on getting one of these electric toothbrushes. The brush heads are very easy to change and they are quite small so they can reach in places where a normal brush wouldn't be able to and the cost of the brushes usually starts at around $119.00 for two brushes and two chargers.

                                                                                     Sincerely,

                                                                                             Laura C.
