Sonicare Elite E9500 Electronic Toothbrush Review Summary

The Sonicare Elite e9500 Toothbrush is such a hit with our reviewers that they think "you'll never go back to a normal brush again". What separates the Sonicare E9500 from other electric toothbrushes? While some bushes on an electric toothbrush can be harsh on the teeth, with the sonicare "you don't feel them in your mouth at all." Not only that, but the Sonicare E9500 toothbrush "increases (brush) speed up to 14 uses." This gives your mouth and gums time to grow accustomed to the Sonicare. Our reviewers report that the Sonicare Elite has a "time so you can brush the correct amount of time" and also reminds you when to switch to a new area of your mouth. In all, the Sonicare Elite E9500 toothbrush is one of our reviewers favorites on the site. Still want to look around? Please do! We've got many more toothbrush reviews!

After reviewing the UV Sanitizer for BZZAgent, I got interested in a Sonicare toothbrush, since my husband's dentist told him it is one excellent investment.  He recommended the new Phillips Sonicare Elite E9500 which has 2 brush speeds,  one tapered ergonomic handle with a deluxe recharge gauge, two contoured brush heads: compact and standard size, max to gentle speed setting & a programmable Quadpacer: 30-second interval timer encourages thorough brushing.  And how soft the brushes are, you don't feel them in your mouth at all.  It even increases speed up to 14 uses… read full review »

I love sonicare, and I know a lot when it comes to dental hygiene, as I am a dental hygienist.  I use this myself, my husband and my family use it, we even give this out free to periodontal patients in the office I work in.  It is a great toothbrush.  It has a timer so you brush the correct amount time and the 'quad pacer' reminds you to switch areas so you brush everywhere the same amount of time.  It does not allow you to brush too hard, if you push too hard it noticably slows down.  The charge lasts for up to 2 weeks so you can take it on vacation with you.  … read full review »

I absolutely love my toothbrush!!! I will say that at first after using it for the first time I thought I would never get over the first two minutes after feeling the vibrations and tingling...and two minutes can seem forever before it will shut itself off. — — Now, I feel better about the health of my teeth and gums. I have had better check ups with my dentist. I have owned the soniccare toothbrush elite e9500 for over a year and two visits later to my dentist and my mouth is tanking me!! That brush can reach in places and clean your teach and fast!! 30 seconds for each quarter… read full review »

I have the Sonicare Advance & I love using it everyday.  I think I paid $40 for it on sale at Sears & it is the best purchase I ever made.  You only have to replace the heads every 6 months & if you sign up for emails thru their website you can get a $5 rebate when you purchase a two pack head replacement & they send you rebate emails all the time so it's not like you only get a rebate once, you can get a rebate every year.  I just bought a 2 pack replacement head at Target for $24.95 so I will get $5 back from that.  After I bought the Sonicare & used it for 2 months I… read full review »

This is a great toothbrush for anyone who wants to have their mouth feeling clean and isn't satisfied with the job that their current toothbrush is doing. The Sonicare vibrates to give your teeth and gums a more thurough clean than any other toothbrush I have seen. The Colgate one, for instance, spins back and forth accomplishing no more than someone who brushes correctly with a normal brush. The only complaint I have about this brush is that after about two weeks, the signal function (it beeps to tell you to move on to a different section of your mouth every 10 or so seconds) stopped… read full review »

I've had this brush for about a year now and love it! From the beginning, my mouth has just felt cleaner. Even my dentist has noticed the improvement. I love the 2.5 min timer. I used to think I brushed for that long but now I know there was no way! — My brush came with a handy travel case. The charger is small and light-weight, making it easy to bring on trips too. I usually have to recharge every 6-7 days. — My boyfriend bought one after hearing me rave about mine. He loves his too. — The drawback is the price but look at it as an investment! TIP: A friend and I bought a… read full review »

THis is an easy to use effective toothbrush originally recommended by my hygienist to help me improve my brushing.  I really enjoy brushing with this and actually dislike brushing my teeth when I go on vacation and having the letdown of using a regular brush.  The sonicare shuts off automatically when I finsih my 2 minutes so I can't cheat or overdo it either.  I actually look forward to the shutoff and feel a great sense of satisfaction at completing the project of brushing.  The new elite (which I don't have) beeps to tell you when to move on to the next quadrant of your… read full review »

I received the sonicare 6200 from my dentist seven months ago.  It came with the toothpaste caps that clip on to the inside of the brush.  I used it six months.  When I tried to buy the paste refills and the toothbrush head, I couldn't find replacement heads anywhere. So I called up my dentist to find out why I couldn't find them. He said it was an outdated model. So I went and purchased another sonicare model 5500. I also found that the E series standard would fit the brush. The toothbrush works great though and I dont have to mess with the little paste packets… read full review »

My dentist suggested that I get a Sonicare as it was the product that cleans best, according to him. I found that the toothbrush with Quadpacer allows both an easy entry into the Sonicare experience by having a gentle mode to begin as well as breifly stopping after 30 seconds to remind you to procede to the next area of the mouth. —  This product came with 2 brushheads and a simple recharging base that allows for 7 to 14 brushings between charges that allows you to take it on vacation without the charger. —… read full review »

I was using a cheaper name brand electric toothbrush for quite some time.  My husband got me this toothbrush as a surprise...I must admit that I was too "tight" to spend the $100 on the item.  I absolutely love it.  The brushes reach in places that I could not reach before.  The timer disciplines me brush longer than I did before.  And it holds a charge for a long time.  I travel frequently and don't bother to bring the charger unless I will be away for well over a… read full review »

I love this toothbrush.  It has been the best investment I've made thus far.  It's nice because it has a timer on it and it also tells you when you need to switch areas.  It cleans so well.  I feel like I've left the dentist office every time I use it.  I've had other brands of electric toothbrushe's but no one else can compete with the sonic… read full review »

In my opinion Sonicare has the best electric toothbrush out there. It took some getting used to but, my teeth have never felt cleaner. Since getting the Sonicare Elite, I have had good check ups at my dentist office. The Sonicare brush can reach places a manual toothbrush can't. Plus, with the built in timer, I know I am spending the proper amount of time brushing. —… read full review »
