Effective if you can get used to it

    good at removing tartar and plaque, brush changes easily, one base needed, can share

Cons
    loud and vibrates a lot, Cost

The toothbrush is effective, though it does take a little getting used to the vibrations of the toothbrush.  It is also a bit loud for my taste, but my wife had one and loved it.  It's a matter of personal experience and preference, I guess.  I switched out for an Oral B with a rotating head, and I'm much happier with it.  Just my preference.
