Something Blue - Emily Giffin Review Summary

Something Blue - Emily Giffin is not a sequel to "Something Borrowed" but our readers recommend that you read that book before venturing into Something Blue. This chick lit novel is about self awareness, relationships, and the twists and turns in life. There's a lot of humor in the book as well and our reviewers love both books equally. They actually are the same story told from two different perspectives, a very unique idea. Our readers recommend both Something Borrowed and Something Blue!

This book is not a sequal but it is reccomended you read "Something Borrwed" first.  It about a lady Darcy Rhode, who think she is all that, beautiful and charming who life gets turn upside down when her best friend, Rachel White, steals her fiance and she is pregnate at the same time.  She goes to live with a childhood friend in London and first spends her time shopping but then she gets a reality check and and she begins her journey toward self-awarness, forgivenes, and motherhood.

I normally dont read books like this but I brought it and I loved it! It was awesome funny and I really enjoyed...

I had read Something Borrowed before I read this book, however you certainly don't have to read the first one to understand this book. There are a few "inside" parts of the book that a reader would not understand if they had not read Something Borrowed first. But, other than that you can easily follow along. This book was not as easy to get into as Something Borrowed, however I liked this one better that the first book. You see the "mean" girl turn into a competely different person and make good out of her life.
