Pros

Cons
just look in the mirror, sons were horrified, G cups - not so good, nothing to the imagination

The woman at Bra Experience assured me that she had a camisole top that would do me proud. Now, things didn't work out so well with that shop, so I should not have been shocked that the camisole was not the ticket.

I should explain that I'm a 34 G in a bra. I am not bragging. If you had to lug them around, then you'd know that. It's just a fact, and it's a fact that it's hard to find cute clothes that fit.

I ruled out camisole tops long ago, but this one was supposed to have a built in 34 G bra. The bra lady told me it would be just cute as could be on. We perhaps a different idea of "cute as can be."

The camisole came. It was really pretty in a lavender color which I love. The bra set in did look and feel sturdy. It was impressive right out of the package.

Ah, but then I put it on.

The camisole did, in fact, fit. To a T (no - not for that word).

I looked in the mirror, and I had my serious doubts. This was showing more skin than I'd shown since probably birth. This included some serious cleavage.

I went out to the living room where my oldest son mostly lives to model.

My son said, "You wear SOMETHING over it right?"

"Nope," I said and smiled.

"I can take that back to the Post Office for you," he said.

Now, this is the kid who has been most embarrassed about having to take packages up to the corrner to mail back to stores called things like "Bras That Fit." He is a very conservative young man.

I turned about and said (kidding), "Well, I kinda like it."

"Mom," he said.

"What's the matter buddy?" I replied.

"Uh," he said. "I think men would . . . uh . . . look at you."

That, of course, would be a very bad thing (-:

I did, of course, send the camisole back. Though it did fit and support, I looked rather like a hooker. With big breasts, little spaghetti tops (even with bra support) and a low cut in a tight fitting top says things that ought not be said.

I like the little summer camis, but they are just not for me - even with the new big cup models. I would never go out of the house in one, so that defeats the purpose in having one. I'm not modest in my thoughts and actions, but I am when it's comes to clothes. I'd rather folks remember me for my glowing conversations than for my big you know whats.

For obvious reasons, I did not bless everyone with photos of this one. My son is most thankful.

In response to smartiesluver89's comment from Feb 25, 2008 at 2:51PM:

My heart (and chest) go out to you. I was a AA at 14 and then a C at 15. Just got more excessive from there. I have had a reduction (and am glad). I'm still a D plus. Bummer. But, at least I'm no a Z. Perish the thought.

i'm only 14, but i'm size 32C. I can never find camis that fit. If i get a large size it sticks out so people can look down it, or I get a smaller size and the inside elasticy thing is too short and i have at least an inch or more of cleavage. We have a dress code at my school and I have to wear a lot of T-shirts. OMG! I can't stand my boobs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When my son was born, I was assurred that the girls would go back to their original size... they didn't. I'm right there with you, but you did give me a chuckle. Great review!

As a 34D you have my sympathy and gave me quite a few laughs.

This made me chuckle. Oh, the secrets a ladies dressing room could tell...

Oh yes. They have them in a full range of sizes. They are cute. But, I looked like Dolly P. and would not feel comfortable even with a jacket. I know. I know. I'm trying. But this was too much for me.

I bet you looked great in this! You could have worn it under a cute light blazer or a cool waist length jacket or even a deep V neck sweater! I wonder of they have those for us lil folk. 36C. Hmm. Must see.
