As a puppy our English Mastiff had Holistic Select as a puppy food.  He loved it.  Meals were devoured in seconds.  Once we made the switch to the adult formula he lost interest.  Thus the search began for a food that was meant for a large breed dog.  The hunt led to Solid Gold Wolf King for large breeds.  Our dog loves mealtime again.  As soon as the scoop hits the food our dog comes running.  I am guessing he likes the flavor because there is never a speck left.  I would highly recommend this food.

I have a 2 year old Shepherd Mix that I got from the animal shelter.  She was just a pup who had been turned in becasue she was sick.  She seemed to have a tender stomach with some vomiting and diarrhea.  The dog food we had used for our previous dog didn't work for her.  We looked online for reviews and went with Solid Gold Wolf King puppy.  The occasional vomiting went away and eventually so did the other problem.  She's a very nervous dog so this may have something to do with the diarrhea.  After further research I noticed that the protein content wasn't as good as other dog foods out there so we tried one other.  We only added a small amount of the new dog food to Solid Gold but she got sick the next day so we decided to just keep her on the Solid Gold.  I'm not sure what it is about the Solid Gold but that seems to keep her stomach issues under control.   Although Solid Gold is a bit more expensive than others it is well worth the price for her comfort.
