Solia Flat Iron —

Solia's 1.25 inch ceramic tourmaline flat iron is a great product! I love it because it is easy to hold, and has ridges on the side of the iron part so that you can grab it around the edges (although I wouldn't recommend you do that) -- I think it is more of a safety precaution. The plates are blue, which I think is a bit odd, but perhaps thats how they distinguish their brand... I love that they have a wide range of settings. I wanted a flat iron that would enable me to straighten my hair to different levels of straight depending on my mood that day. I had seen many flat irons that only had one heat setting, which was usually ridiuclously hot.  I've had my iron for about three to four years now, and it is still in fabulous condition. The only thing that dates it, is the fact that the plastic logo fell off, haha. But I don't care because it doesn't affect the functionality. Its more of the brand's form of advertisement and it was stylish :) I don't anticipate having to purchase a new flat iron any time soon, and frankly if this one did break down, I would probably buy the same thing as a replacement.
