I brought the Soleus Lx- for it's portability fell in love with it's multi functional useage my husband is cold all the time and i'm just the oppsited so this allows us to have the best of both worlds.

The soleus lx-140 is an awesome cooling machine! This unit cools my entire kitchen and living room space with ease and comfort. We purchased ours with hopes of cooling just one small area and as it turns out it does much more. Our kitchen has no air conditioning therefore we picked up this work horse air conditioner to try to supplement the area with cold air and what we got was shocking. Our kitchen and all areas around it were being cooled off with ease. We can move this light weight unit around our home to get cold air wherever we need it most. During the summer there are parts of our home that just dont get cooled off enough for our taste. Our children now have comfort in their playroom which now they do. The garage is another area of concern for us because i do a lot of work out there and often times need cold air to help make my projects go by better with comfort and ease with this bad boy! The Soleus replaced an existing unit we had that wasn't large enough to cool off our main living area.  The Soleus really cools the room quickly and automatically adjusts so it is not constantly running.  There is a hose that vents through a window and we don't have to empty a bucket or run a plumbing line to get rid of the condensation like our previous portable unit.  The Soleus is easy to use and even has a remote so the temperature can be adjusted or even turn off from anywhere in the room.  It is a very quiet and very efficient model that will convert to a heat pump in the winter to just heat our main living area if needed.   The Soleus model is very modern looking and fits into the decor of any room.  It can also be moved easily when not in use because there are wheels on the bottom of the unit.  It will fit into a closet for storage or can be placed in an area that needs heating for the winter.  We are very pleased with our Soleus.

This portable air conditioner works good. Its good that its portable so that you can move it to any part of the house you're in. Its great for people who dont have many windows or have small windows you can still cool up your house. Also you dont have to empty a water tank and the filters are easy to remove.

I think this product is great. Reason being, is that it is portable and can make any room of the house fresh as can be. I also found that the other features were pretty good. The heater not favorite, but good the rest of my family. So overall It was a great product. I give it a 4 of 5 star rating!!!
