You can adjust the temperature with the adjustable digital thermostat.  Set it anywhere between 59 degrees and 80 degrees, and the room will be kept at that temperature.  The unit itself isn't extremely large (Dimensions: 13.58 (L) x 13.58 (W) x 25.67 (H) inches) so it can fit comfortably in any room without looking too bulky or out of place. 

When we purchased our Soleus 360 Degree Micathermic Heater, we received a one year limited warranty.  We didn't have any problems with it, and never needed to pull the warranty out for any reason.  Like any space heater, when we initially turned it on, we noticed an odor, but once the "newness" of it wore off, the smell quickly went away and we no longer smell anything at all when it runs.
