I want to start by saying I'm very picky about lip balms. When I find a balm that I like I tend to remain loyal to it. That being said, however, I am always open to trying new brands in the hopes that I'll find something that works for me. Softlips is only ok. This lip balm does have a lovely soft texture, it isn't sticky, it goes on easily, and I love that it contains an SPF. The flavors I've tried have been pleasant but not overpowering. However, I find that I need to reapply very often and that this product does little to soothe lips that are chapped and irritated. It feels wonderful on healthy, unchapped lips, but it does nothing to relieve or repair damaged ones. My lips still felt dry after using this. This balm works if you're in a pinch and have nothing else, or if you're just looking for a simple balm that will add a bit of moisture and shine, but there are so many better lip products out there.

Love the feel of this moisturizer on my lips with the exception that I have to reapply often so that's why I am rating it good as opposed to very good. Provides instant moisture without the stickiness of a gloss. It goes on smooth and stays on for quite a while without having to reapply constantly. I also like that it doesn't feel waxy like a lot of chap sticks. It smells nice and I love the different flavors/scents that are offered. My favorite is the raspberry one but I haven't finished trying them all yet so the verdict on the others isn't in yet. Great size for carrying in my pocket or purse and can easily be applied with one hand which is great for those emergencies when your lips are dry while driving.

 Softlips is a great product! I love the Vanilla the best. It smells so yummy and goes on silky. It has a minty feeling that tingles slightly at first and normally I'm not a mint fan, but I love this stuff!

Softlips is by far the most comfortable lip balm on the market. In fact, most of us who use it are now addicts! It goes on so smoothly, never looks or feels greasy, and really does make your lips feel softer. The nude lip trend is also in right now, and Softlips adds just enough shine to pull this look off perfectly. My only complaint is that I can't get enough! I am often seen reapplying the product, which really is not that big of a problem except that I go through it pretty fast. However, I know that a lot of people won't use Softlips because of this. I would like to offer this counter-argument, though: Most long lasting lip balms are very greasy, and a lot of times you can even see a greasy ring around the person's lips after they have applied it. With that in mind, let me ask you this: Do you want to use a lip balm that looks and feels greasy just so you don't have to keep reapplying it, or would you rather apply a more comfortable lip balm regularly? If your answer is to be comfortable, then the best choice is the original Softlips flavors. I would stay away from the tinted and organic lines though. I have found that the tinted Softlips (like Pearl Tints) do not go on as smoothly and tend to be more drying. It is much easier to add color if you apply a layer of clear Softlips, then use your regular lipstick or gloss over it. The organic PURE collection is also a poor value and tends to feel greasy. I tried both the Chai Tea and Acai Berry, and would go as far as to say they were a little bit grainy. They also do not come in 2-packs, so they are quite a bit more expensive. The best value is to find the Softlips 2-packs that include only the orginal flavors: Vanilla, Cherry, Strawberry, or Raspberry. There's nothing I hate more than to go into a store and find that the only Softlips they sell are 2-packs that include one of the tinted balms. My favorite finds are the Strawberry value packs, with Raspberry being a close 2nd!

I really wish that I could give this product five stars, but I can't for the simple reason that it doesn't last very long on your lips. Other than that, I have zero complaints and can only rave about the scents available, the minty tinge that it gives your lips and the absolute softness it provides upon application. I love the small tube and I usual buy this in dual packs as I like to have a few tubes around different purses and at work. I like the shape of the balm, not too big or too small, it gives for an easy applying of the balm. I also have used this lip product on dry skin around my nose and on my cuticles, and it actually does a good job especially if you have not lotion on hand. I just wish that it lasted longer but i guess that's why the product feels so great because it's NOT sticky and greasy and waxy.

I always tend to get chapped lips, winter, spring, summer, and fall. I regularly use lip balms to both treat chapped lips and prevent chapped lips. About a month ago my husband hit a buy one get one free Softlips. Before this, I had never tried Softlips.I am using the Vanilla and I really like it. It goes on so smoothly   and is not waxy and hard like a lot of other lip treatments. I love the scent. It also has a small amount of sun protection. I put it on before bed and have  found my lips have been better. It does not seem to last as long as some other lip treatments I have used. It seems to get absorbed rather than sit on top of the lips. The price is not the greatest.It is much more than a lot of other brands that I have used. Even with the buy one get one free sale, it is still more expensive. I think the flavor is good and it does come in a variety of flavors that should just about please everyone. I may or maynot buy it again. It would definitely have to be on sale.

I have been using Softlips lip protectant for many years. I have used both with the SPF for sunscreen protection and without. I do like having the sunscreen to protect my lips, but you really can't go wrong with any Softlips brand lip balm!It goes on very smoothly and has a very pleasant scent/flavor. It always makes my dry lips feel better and helps get rid of any chapping I may have. Soflips lip balms are very inexpensive, so perfect for any budget. They are also a great size to carry along in a pocket or a purse. I like the small size for this reason. Even though the tube looks small, I find that the softlips lip balm lasts a long time. It also lasts for many hours on your lips! It stays on and doesn't easily rub off. Softlips just feels good on your lips and is one of my favorite things to use for my lips, especially in the winter.I can recommend this product to anyone. You will love how it feels and how well it works to keep your lips smooth and soft!

In the past, I was not much of a chapstick user despite how easily my lips would dry and chap during the winter months. However, when Softlips came out and started featuring advertisements in the magazines I read, I was intrigued by the flavors they offered and shape of their chapsticks. I realized that I did not like using the average chapstick because I felt that they were too wide and not easy to spread on my lips. Once I bought Softlips, I was very happy that it was easy and comfortable to apply to my lips. It is a lot easier to hold a thinner chapstick tube and to carry around in your pocket, purse, etc. I have tried many flavors such as strawberry, vanilla, cherry, and raspberry with green tea. All of the flavors are great and I can't wait to try their other ones. The SPF 20 factor is excellent and they do not feel heavy or greasy on your lips. Although you may have to reapply the chapstick quite a few times, Softlips is still a fantastic lip protectant and my favorite by far.

Last year, as I was shopping for Christmas, I came across the Softlips brand of products. The first pack I bought was a double set of vanilla and pink tint. The vanilla has a soft flavor and a nice tingly feeling on your lips. The small, skinny tube makes it convenient to take anywhere, you can just slip it right into your pocket. Ever since my first purchase, I went back and bought a second of the same set to have on back up for when mine ran out. :) Softlips quickly became my favorite lip balm product. They go on so smooth and easy, they don't feel heavy on your lips, and the flavors are great. Since my first Softlips purchase, I have gone on and tried some of the other flavors. The other flavors I tried are raspberry with green tea extract and the limited edition summer flavors, coconut cream and peach mango. I loved them all. They all smell wonderful and give you that great feeling when applied. Another plus of these lip balms is that they have spf 20, perfect for protecting your lips everyday. There are 9 flavors available in the spf, so you're sure to find a flavor you'll love. I would recommend this lip balm to everyone. :)
