I had ready many reviews of SoftSheen-Carson's Magic Shave on the internet, specifically recommended for removing hair "down there".  I have extremely sensitive skin and am prone to horrible - I mean HORRIBLE - itchy ingrown hairs, unattractive bumps, and painful irritation.  I was very skeptical, but since summer's coming, I was getting a little desperate. I got this version, the skin conditioning, because I had read that the "fragrant" kind caused irritation, and the "extra-strength" was too harsh.  The "blue" regular strength seems to work fine for most, but I wanted the extra protection from the "Platinum" (so named because the shiny silver can) with its aloe and vitamin E. Easy to apply - just read the directions and have a spray bottle to keep it moist (it will cause irritation if it gets dry).  I tend to leave it on a little bit longer than the directions state (9 minutes), because I've got stubborn hair, but with the "Platinum", I've got no problems with irritation. It may take you two treatments when you first start, if you have a lot of established hair to remove.  Since you can only use this every 36 hours, plan in advance! If you're looking for this in the store, check the "Ethnic care" section (I wish my store called it something else), since it's marketed specifically to black men for beard removal. Highly recommend!
