Snuggle Puppy! Review

We received Snuggle Puppy by Sandra Boynton as a gift for our daughter.  As a fan of her other books, we were excited to discover this one.  As avid readers, we want to instill a love of reading in our children, so we made reading part of our night time ritual from the start.

This is a fun book to read with your toddler!  It is subtitled as a "little love song."  The words are rhythmic and it is easy to create your own tune to this song and change it up every time (although I finally discovered the CD with a tune on it!).  As all Boynton books, this book is illustrated with bright colors and cute characters.  Once my daughter was able to speak a little, she would often request this book or just to sing the song by calling it "ooooo!"

This is a great book to add to your toddler's collection.  The board book is durable and still looks brand new after numerous readings.  If you or your toddler love music, it is fun to be creative and create music together.
