Snot Spot Review

Supposedly, men's jackets have buttons on the sleeves because Napoleon got tired of watching soldiers wipe their noses on their sleeves. Whether that's true or not, anyone who spends much time outdoors in the cold is familiar with those little yellow icicles that form at the tip of your nose. Wipe it on your sleeve? Have you paid to have a winter coat dry-cleaned lately? Wipe it on your glove? Ummmm, gross...

There's a solution: Snot Spot! This triangular swatch of soft fleece is exactly what the doctor ordered for runny-nose days. There's a loop at one end to fit around a finger and a loop at the other to fit around your wrist, providing a soft surface for that quick swipe across your upper lip. The fleece is almost self-cleaning - a few minutes later, there's almost no sign that you ever used it. If it gets too icky for your tastes, you can wash it by hand in the sink - it dries in a couple of hours - or throw it in the washer with your socks.

Snot Spot's available in either black or white and will fit on almost any glove or mitten (there are two sizes - adult and junior). For summer allergy sufferers, there are also versions available for a bare hand and an ultra-thin version that's designed for a bike glove.
