Snopes Review

Snopes.com is one of those treasures of the internet. You hit the jackpot of investigating/research sites.

Where did that photo come from? Is it real? What is the story? When was it taken? by whom?

This was my initial reason I came across Snopes.com inthe late 90's. They were thorough in my reasearch and I return to it everytime I want to find the story behind anything slightly dubious or highly entertaining.

Photos, scam letters, anecdotes, urban legends, quotes, press, tv, movies, misinformation, videos.... they cover it all. And you will stop asking any questions after visiting them.

Every other forwarded email I receive ends up with me sending it back to the sender only staing: "Read this Snopes.com link (link provided) and see that it is true/false/a hoax/urban legend/impossible/unreal/unfounded"... you get the idea...

Why they don't have a daily Snopes.com tv show yet is beyond me.... or do they?
