Quick View: I am not one to wear sleep masks often but I am a night owl and often go to bed well after the world has woken up and are on their way to lunch. My room has light streaming in and I go crazy trying to sleep. Sometimes, I will pull out one of these masks and it blocks the light really well. Sleep is more peaceful for me.

About Snooz Silky Soft Airline Style Sleep Mask

These masks come either in a pack of one or five. They are very inexpensive and made of black taffeta on both sides. The area around the mask is cushioned as is the nose bridge. There are two elastic bands on the masks to better secure the mask on the head. These stretchy straps don't squeeze my head or feel too tight at all. However, the mask does completely block out light - even really bright sunlight.

These masks can be hand washed and laid flat to dry when needed. They are great for day sleepers, nappers, or for those times when people get migraine headaches. When I get a migraine headache, I can't stand any light at all and these masks help me to endure the pain and get a little sleep. These are unisex masks and fit all adult heads. They wrap around so that no light leaks through the sides and the nose bridge is also secured so no light seeps in. I have tried spa masks and expensive silk and satin masks but these inexpensive masks - that cost around two bucks a piece - work just as well as the spa type. These are great for resting on airplanes as well and in cars. I can't bear to shut my eyes when on a plane or in a moving vehicle because I am of the mind that I am needed to backseat drive and must be awake but, now and then, I have actually given in and slept on a very long plane trip - with one of these masks on. The only thing is, when I wake up, I am scared for a minute because I can't see.

My Viewpoint

My Snooz Silky Soft Airline Style Sleep Masks are used for afternoon naps and, now and then when I just can't sleep with all the light streaming into my room. I also use one when my neck acts up and I get a migraine headache. I use other types of cool masks as well but these masks are feather light and stay put during sleep. These are excellent masks at an excellent price. Gotta go with 5 stars!
