Unlike most protein bars and energy bars, I find the Snickers Marathon bars to be quite tastey. I actually have a problem with wanting to eat these bars as a snack or treat because they taste so good. Suprisingly though, these bars still have great nutritonal value. They are a low GI food nnd have 20 grams of protein to start with. However, they're also high in fiber (20grams), high in vitamins (A, C, E, and B), high in Iron and Calcium, and many other essential nutrients.So, not only are these bars quite delicious, they are actually on the healthier side and make a great snack for a work out or even as a meal replacement bar from time to time.

This is the best I have had yet! Our family now uses it extensively. My aunt had her stomach stapled. She has to drink protein shakes that cost a lot of money. This has more of what she is to have, at a fraction of the cost and taste 10 times better. She does not need to carry a cooler and can eat a little at a time. My kids are in sports. They eat one before games and practices. They do not run out of energy or cramp up on hot days. In tournaments, there is very little time between games, this is perfect. I play tennis.  Since cutting up the bars and taking a small bite every time we change sides, I no longer get muscle spasms, fatigued or cramps. I used to do lots of Gatorade and bananas on the side line. The taste is not exactly like a Snickers, but the peanuts and caramel are right on. The chocolate is very filling. Do not try to eat this as a candy bar.  If you are expecting it to taste just like a Snickers, it will not please you. If you are looking for a protein bar that taste better then most, then you will like it. This bar does what it says, works where its needed. I think they missed the advertising click by not advertising as a food supplement for gastro bypass and chemotherapy patients though.
