Snapfish does make it easy to share photos with friends and family.  The site is free and  easy to use.  And the prices per print are pretty good.  They have a lot of different gifts you can order from photo-books to calendars to mugs to photo greeting cards for all occasions.  The option to ship or pick-up prints is nice, though it's going to cost a lot more to pick-up your photos.

However, Snapfish does have a couple of huge downsides:

Downside #1 - even with a broadband connection it takes forever to upload pictures if you have more than a couple. 

Downside #2 - I've noticed that the bottom set of pictures on the wallet sheets seem to be cropped along the top.  I haven't had anything major cut out to make them unusable, but it's something to watch out for.

Downside #3 -The customer service is TERRIBLE!  On one order I had spent over $100 on photos and ordered them 2nd day rush delivery.  A week later I still hadn't received them.  I checked my order status and according to the FedEx tracking number, they'd been delivered.  I e-mailed Snapfish and told them that I never got my photos.  Two days later they refunded the difference between the rush and standard shipping (a whole $5) and told me to wait another week.  I did.  No pictures.  I e-mailed Snapfish again and told them I still hadn't received my pictures.  Another couple days before even getting a response.  Their response this time?  Someone must have stolen the package from my stoop.  Are you kidding me?  I was home all day the day they were supposedly delivered and no one came to my door.  I was out almost $100 and they were telling me too bad!  I was fuming! 

I was prepared to dispute the charges with my credit card company, but before messing with all that, I decided to give Snapfish one more shot.  I copied the e-mails I had received from them previously and told them that I was absolutely disgusted with them for the way they had handled my problem.  I asked if they had insured the package so I could at least attempt to recoup my cost that way.  It must have gotten kicked up to a manager or something because within an hour I received an e-mail back telling me that the full cost would be refunded to my credit card.

So it worked out in the end, but it was extremely frustrating.
