My favorite peant butter is from the local food co-op. You can load peanuts into the grinder yourself and collect what comes out. If you refrigerate it when you get it home you never have to stir it.
Smucker's natural peanut butter comes closest to this experience. Because it sits on the shelf, there is some oil separation. Don't pour off the oil, because it's good-for-you monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats. Mix it in with a knife when you first use it and store it upside down at room temperature. The oil will tend to rise, taking it to the bottom of the jar. This way the peanut butter will be good to the last dollop.
If the lack of sugar bothers you, get the Smucker's variety with honey mixed in. Even more tasty and still all natural!
