I purchased this thing because I had a gift card, and I'd wondered about it when I had seen it in the past. I didn't have great hope for its performance, so that's why it took a gift card to buy it.(We can discuss sunk cost fallacy, internal accounting, and the psychological impact of cash vs card later.)
It has actually performed quite well. The padding is firm and resilient, and the frame is sturdy. Because of the way it's made, it can be used as a kneeler or as a seat. I am able/willing to weed more often now because I don't have to worry about my aching knees. When I'm done, it folds up to store neatly out of the way in my garage.
Short form- A good idea that has been well executed.
