The photo finish primer adds a clean and fresh look. The price though is a bit expensive especially concerning the amount of primers out on the market. It applies on smoothly and it doesn't require much so a little bottle lasts for quite a while. This does make up for the price a bit. I have a travel size and it's very convenient for me to have it while I'm about.

I have recently started wearing foundation since my skin has a bit of discoloration (some redness). The foundation has been excellent at making my face and complexion look much more even. At first, I tried powder foundation but I felt that it went on too cakey and it looked obvious that I had foundation on. So then I started wearing liquid foundation and that definitely looked better in terms of naturalness. However Towards the middle of the day, the foundation would begin to look cakey on my face and it would sort of dry up. That's when I realized that I needed to start wearing either a different kind of foundation or some primer. I bought a few drugstore primers but I wasn't really satisfied with any of them. So I went to sephora to look for a brand name primer in the hopes that it will work better for me and the sales lady recommended I try smashbox primer. Ever since then I have been hooked on the smashbox photo finish foundation primer!! It goes on smoothly and makes my foundation stay on all day! It really gave me the "fresh" look that I was looking for. Plus it has an SPF of 15. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants their foundation to go on smoothly and naturally. The only con about this product is the price you pay for such a little amount but I do feel that it is an amazing primer!

I have religously used smashbox primer in original for years now and when they started to come out with these other line of primers I thought i would give this a dry. On my first application, I thought this felt vert nice and it applited very smoothly on the face. It did not seem as oily or slick as the originial formula which I think is good. This keeps your foundation on very nicely and for a long while during the day. The only problem I have with this is that I do not think my foundation applies on as nicely with this. This might need more time to sink into you face before applying you foundation. Otherwise, this is a great product, it does bring a nice glow to your face but it is a bit pricey so I would test it out before you commit.

I like that this primer has SPF 15. It blends really easily into the skin but it does give my skin a slick feel right away. I have to use a mattifying primer from a different brand. Compared to the colored smashbox primers, this one is easier to blend because it doesn't have all the colored pigments. It's also good if you have finished putting on a mineral foundation and the buffing has made a patch of skin look dry or flaky. You can just pat this on top and it moisturizes enough to make the dry patch disappear without smearing your makeup. So I would be careful buying this is you have oily skin, first try a sample. The travel size is good to keep in your purse for touch-ups. I would say that hourglass is the best primer if you are agoing to spend this much.

Foundation is the base of your make-up routine! If your foundation is not good then not at thing about your make-up will look good. This foundation will give your face a great base that makes everything after it look great! Your skin will glow! The SPF 15 also helps protect your skin from the sun's damaging rays. This make-up will literally keep you younger looking, longer! Also, a little of it goes a long way! I use one pump, per day and that is all I need! It covers my whole face without looking blotchy or spotty. All in all you will love this product and will be addicted to it!

This is the first primer I've ever tried. I've used about three different kind since. I have far from perfect skin but I don't really see this doing a lot to my skin. It doesn't make my pores disappear, it doesn't make my makeup look better, not too sure if it makes my makeup last longer either. I think I use primer because I bought into the idea that a primer makes you look better. I don't really use this everyday but I'm sure some people do. I think the silicones in this would seriously break me out if I used it on a regular basis. I'm pretty sure I've gotten a few pimples here and there from this. I've just never been wowed by this or the other primers I've used so I can't really say it's outstanding for what it is because I've never had a primer that knocked my socks off. I like that this has sun protection in it. I'm not sure if it gives a photo finish to it. It also feels a bit greasy when you put it on. I think it smoothes over the skin nicely though and a little goes a long way.

I love this stuff, it makes your skin velvety soft and I think it helps to fill in enlarged pores and lines. Soem days I skip becuase I'm lazy or want to make the product last longer. I like buying it in the travel size, it's easier to get the last drop out!
