Smashbox Arced Liner Brush #21 Review

For my birthday, my sister bought me Smashbox Jet Set Waterproof Eye Liner that I absolutely love. Along with this creamy liner, she also bought me the Smashbox Arced Liner Brush #21. I can't imagine putting this or any other creme eyeliner on with any other brush.

This brush is far from ordinary in that it is "built with an ergonomic bend to conform to the shape of the eyes providing better precision in one quick, easy stroke". At $20, this little brush is pricey but its performance is like no other.

When I first saw the shape of this brush, I looked at it somewhat strangely. My sister saw my face and quickly explained why it looked bent at the tip. After I understood the reason behind the bent brush, I thought it was quite a good idea. This red brush is thin and easy to hold. The bristles are somewhat stiff and pointy making it easy to create a perfect thin line. Even though I have only used pencil liners in the past, after just a couple of tries, I was applying this creme eyeliner like an expert. I can even make a thin line on my upper lids without making my face look like a Halloween mask. (No comments from the peanut gallery) I have been using this brush since May, it hasn't shed at all, and I just give it a light cleaning occasionally.

The Smashbox Arced Liner Brush #21 is quite a pricey little brush but boy is it ever worth it. I would never be able to apply creme eyeliner with a regular brush like I can with this one. I recommend it to apply any creme or liquid eyeliner and I am giving it a 4 star rating.
