Slumdog Millionaire Review

Slumdog Millionaire has it all as a movie - intelligence, suspense, romance, good guy/bad guy, passion.  A must see. Ingenius concept.  Not your normal, everyday movie, but I think everyone could enjoy it (except for the really young, of course).  Even my 12 year old daughter, who is extremely selective about what she will watch, was totally fascinated by this movie.  Probably because of the "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" aspect, but nontheless.  It's certainly understandable why this movie won the Academy Award for Best Picture.  And did you know that the production company had such little confidence in the movie that they weren't going to open in theatres, but take the movie straight to DVD release.  But another production company who did have confidence in it picked up control of the movie, released it in theatres, and the rest is history.  Got to be a few movie execs out there kicking themselves.
